Since Senator Hughes believes that FB and twitter have become a public forum; he says that this law will ensure the freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment.

This may be the first step to defining these platforms as a public utility, and placing them under goverent regulation. This would insure free speech nation wide.

I hope they copy this law locally too, although I fired FB years ago and never opened a twitter account. If all conservatives did the same, these platforms would crumble into History!

But it is gratifying to see Texas take a stand against the corporate fascists, I hope it is effective! They keep this up, and I may need to move to Texas....

I'm glad for the action. However, I am skeptical that it would hold in the legal sense. At the very least, it is a symbolic gesture. It is a warning shot.

They should be regulated as the public utilities they have become! I have long since stopped using them. Enough people that love free speech need to leave, and this policy will change.

Anti trust laws need to be applied too!

Very good.

I like the way the governor responded! Tired the Liberals crapping on everything I believe, and expecting me to pay for it.

I think you should consider running for public office.

If I ran for office the swamp would put a price on my head within a month! It would be nice to step on their throats and make them Pony up honest money on the budget. Making them balanced budget might actually be a little bit fun. They would hate me!
