My day started pretty good. I woke up grateful despite the pressure. I don't know if I mentioned but I got a job with a description I have never taken on before. It is so scary to be honest but I believe this is a part of growth. I mean what's the point if you can't take a step forward and leave your comfort zone?
This job is thanks to someone here on Hive and it is practically all my wishes and dreams coming true! It is challenging as much as it is fulfilling. And like Tengo says all the time, "celebrate the little wins". Meeting people who believe in my abilities despite my lack of experience says a lot and I could only describe this as an invaluable opportunity.
I have paused and actually thought of what life would be like after I quit (if I decide to) and I really hate the gaping hole in my chest in the course of that thought. The thought of giving up sounds so wrong to me. It is like the final seal on my destiny. A future I haven't even partaken of yet. With this thought, I realized that if I would forge ahead, I have to be intentional with my act of gratitude. So, here I am, celebrating the little wins.
Little Wins:
- Got to know what Wordpress is
- Learned how to create a website on Wordpress
- Learned to install plugins
- Learned to use smart slides
- Made my first error on the site and was able to undo it.
I feel grateful for this opportunity to learn so much and for the Team I am working with. The mindset they have is not "experience" but "your passion" and my passion is way beyond me. I may not be really good at brainstorming yet but I am learning to use my creative mind more.
I feel overwhelmed and doubtful most times especially when I hit that block wall but I have also learned that sometimes all we need to do is "Sleep on it, come back later".
So, how did I do this week with my savings on Hive? To begin with, my author rewards was beautiful this week and I accumulated 28.225 HP. It rocked to me.
Plus my savings took a turn too and climbed up the ladder:
And this is just one of the saving accounts. The other has over 8 HBD saved thanks to @tengolotodo and his alt account. For this week, the plan is to do more. Hopefully.
I know there are great tools for watching our activities here on Hive. But can anyone suggest to me the easiest and simple to follow? I mean to track our HP payouts. I'd really appreciate that.
