For this topic, I'm of the opinion that some things are better left buried.
There are times when people must have moved on or recovered from something, and telling the truth would either reopen old wounds or cause massive damage.
I think telling the truth is good, but sometimes you have to weigh the costs of telling that truth and ask yourself if you can bear it.
