loyalty, emotional maturity, and shared values

The qualities you desire are pretty good. There can't be two captains In a boat, one has to be loyal to the head of the family.
Shared values are important too, so that both parties can be on the same page.
Emotional maturity, it's cool too. Does age determine the level of emotional maturity?? @goldenproject

Sort:

No, age is just a number. Age can contribute to emotional maturity through life experience, but it doesn’t guarantee it...a lot of elders or lemme just say matured people are still struggling with it and when you see how self aware and intelligent some young people are you will just open your mouth down like basket of water leaf

I love your response on this. Some people are mature by age, but are immature in terms of behaviour and intelligence.

That's one of the reason why they usually say age is just a number amongst other reasons.

True. Age is only necessary when it commensurate with maturity, otherwise it's just a mere number.

You totally get it now

Alright. Do have a blessed evening.

Loyalty doesn't apply to the woman alone, it both parties ,not because you are the head or because you are a supporter in the marriage. Both have to be loyal

No doubt about that. However, the onus of loyalty rest more on the shoulders of the lady 😊.

I am not saying that the man should be so domineering but the loyalist-in-chief should be the lady.
@chefqueen

No, pls change your mindset. It's should be both. No one should be more

Hahaha. Are you serious on this??

Ekere oru eke(there are core responsibilities for everyone.)

They are core responsibility to everyone not loyalty . Loyalty is for everyone
@goldenproject what do you think, do you think I'm wrong?

Because he doesn't agree with you does not mean you are wrong. He might have what works for him, and you said yours.
You get the point?
