A small addition today but one I'm happy to have made as I think most communities really underuse their roles and titles.
Starting today, everyone who starts scrobbling music and videos using out Hive Scrobble extension, get a member role that displays their stats live in the community!
These update daily and whenever a new hive user joins and scrobbles at least 25 songs they'll get their stats to showcase it within the community as well! Currently we have over 40 members!
What do the emojis mean?
Simple:
Trophy means your scrobble.life rank.
Fire means your daily scrobbling streak.
Music means total amount of scrobbles.
Movie emoji means total amount of movies scrobbled.
TV emoji means TV shows + anime.
Then we also have one for books which represents books + manga,
and lastly one for podcasts listened to.
Having member roles that automatically update has been something I've been wanting for a long time and will be looking to implement them towards other communities that could use them as well. I feel like we kind of dropped the ball there on gamifying and showcasing different things for members of communities. I'll be working on an unfinished one next for the Holozing community.
These roles have also been implemented in the review pages of scrobble.life.
If you haven't logged in using keychain to our website yet and not tested out the extension that automatically stores your music and video scrobbles from your browser, this is your chance to join!

We use keychain and only your posting key authority to keep things relatively safe!
Your scrobbles get stored as custom.json transactions on Hive and in your logbook you can change if certain scrobbles got logged as videos that shouldn't have been or vice versa.
After listening/watching at least 60% of a song/video, the extension waits until you start watching something else/listen to something else before posting the transactions on chain. This is so it can also store how much/long you consumed the content to track that data as well so we can later improve our algo/AI suggestion system to help you find new songs/videos others have scrobbled you may be interested in!

Excellent update! Or rather, excellent use of labels and icons. I like them a lot too. Unfortunately, I came to all this Scrobble Life stuff very, very late. As you may have read in some comments I've left and mentioned about it, whenever I went to the website, nothing would load. I tried all possible options and nothing worked; I thought it was just me or that it was because I was in Venezuela. I asked a fellow Hive member to try accessing the website as well, since he is from Venezuela and it wasn't loading for him either.
However, when I tried using a VPN it did load and I realized that it was because I was from Venezuela, so I finally managed to log in using a VPN. However, even with a VPN, I still get an error when installing and opening the browser extension. 🥴
Now that I'm logged into scrobble.life, the button to import my reviews isn't showing up. 🤔
Weird, maybe it's your ISP as I'm pretty sure we have other venezuelan members able to access it, unless they're also all using vpn.
The import reviews button is a one time use, I can reset it for you if you'd like, let me know.
If you're talking about @cositav and others, well, as far as I understand, they're from Venezuela, but something tells me they're in Colombia or something like that. I don't know, it's probably just a guess, because if it were only my provider, then the other user I shared the link with to access Scrobble would have been able to load without a VPN. 🤔
And yes, I would like to be able to import all my reviews from when I started on Hive into Scrobble before I start sharing them with your community. 🤗 Let me know when I can use the button.

I'm sorry, but could you try again? I clicked to confirm the import, but it didn't load because I couldn't unlock the Keychain extension from my mobile browser first. 🙃
Check your logbook, it should've pushed your reviews from previous attempt through so you don't need to import again.
Mmm... And where can I see that? Because if I go to my Scrobble profile and then to Movies, I only see the review I just uploaded today and not the previous two hundred that I have on my Blog. 🤔
Greetings, @nattosenpai te recomiendo Use a different browser; that's what happened to me, and I used a different browser. And I haven't had any problems with the VPN.
I tried it and tried it and nothing, I could only get in with a VPN.
I thought 💭 my scrobbles are missed. Happy to see they ain't and good to see the growing 💗 community. It motivates me to spend more time on Scrobble.life adding more. I wish if we could have an app or an extension being added to the Misses mobile browser so would be more fun and more users too. Let's scrobble
Hi, I'd like to use the extension, but I don't know how to install it. I use the site with the Keychain.
So far, using the keychain I've been able to do many things on the site, but I'd like to install the extension to improve my stats on ScrobbleLife.
are u using it on mobile? it's only for PC currently
I only use it on PC, but I haven't been able to add the extension to register my music and videos. I'm looking into it.

Good afternoon.
I currently use mobile for now , cos my pc isn't available, cos I stumbled on this last night and somehow downloading an extension is proving difficult on mobile, don't know if I'm doing something wrong , or it's just my mobile isnt compatible or something.
So the question here is the extension works for mobile? Or not?
I logged in using keychain and all but then still getting that install extension notifications.
