Biden's first press conference was a joke

in Informationwar4 years ago

This is if you consider the level of attack that you saw whenever a conservative is in office. Granted, George W. Bush was not attacked nearly as much as Trump was but he seemed to have friendlier ties with the media than Trump did and this is also understandable because Trump would go after the media for being the corrupt organization that is controlled by just a few people. Biden has been the media darling for quite some time as they crawl over themselves to protect him at every possible opportunity.

Biden was facing a lot of scrutiny for having the longest amount of time for I think any president, at least in my lifetime, before they do a solo press conference. Therefore, it became necessary for him to do one as the pundits in the media didn't really have any defense to run on this one: Biden was hiding.

I didn't watch the press conference because I don't believe the words that come out of this man's mouth are his own and no matter where you sit on the political fence I think you can quite easily agree with this when you see the massive amounts of notes that the man had with him during this. It wasn't just a podium with a man behind it fielding questions: This was a speech and only friendly news outlets were called upon.

The questions he was asked were all softball questions and they were all directed towards friendly news agencies. Also, the amount of reporters allowed was limited to 30 and while some media outlets that probably would have asked tough questions (conservative outlets like Fox, for example) were in attendance, they were never called on. You may recall that Trump gave time to people that he knew were going to be jerks and try to get a "gotcha" moment time to ask questions as well.

They tried their best to make all of his remarks look like they were answered in real time but then some photos emerged about what Biden had sitting on the podium in front of him.

The sheet clearly shows the names and photos of the reporters that are present. This is harmless enough as it would be unreasonable to expect anyone, especially a man who routinely forgets what city he is in, what office he is running for, and whether the person next to him is his wife or sister. However, when we zoom in on the document in front of him the situation becomes more bleak.

You can clearly see in this zoomed in picture that Biden has numbers next to certain reporters names and there are reports that these numbers are precisely the order in which he called upon reporters for questions. Now, if this is the case, what do you think the chances are that these same reporters gave a heads up to the administration about what the question was going to be about and perhaps even the exact wording of said questions.

In one question about North Korea, Biden appears to read the answer to the question from a card that is in front of him. There is no way that he would have this information so readily available if he wasn't given the information beforehand.

This was obviously an attempt to avoid the gaffe machine that is Biden and we all know this whether you support him or not. However, even with a scripted, fake press-conference Biden still managed to eff that up at one point completely losing his train of thought mid-sentence... yet again..

“I’m going to say something outrageous, I have never been particularly poor at calculating how to get things done in the United States Senate. So, the best way to get something done, if you, if you hold near and dear to you that you uh, um, like to be able to uh, anyway,”

Ok, I feel so much more enlightened having digested that word puree there.

Are we ever going to get any honesty out of this administration? While his press secretary dodges questions and constantly says "we'll come back to that" only to not ever come back to that Biden has to have an obviously scripted presser. It is not at all surprising that the same media that is complicit and probably even participating in this farce all have articles talking about how much of an amazing job Joe did in the conference.

After the 10 numbered questions were asked and "answered" Biden abruptly said "I have to go" and the conference was over.

That was not a press conference, that was a awkward and obviously scripted exchange between friendly parties. We live in a crazy time folks. Our president doesn't know how to talk and when they try to create the illusion that he does by obviously cheating in the process, they still can't pull it off.

Sort:

Yeah, dude it a clown and the media is really having trouble protecting him. some of them are already starting to turn on the guy and it is glorious to see.

I have to wonder if any of the people in the media are beginning to realize that they are propagandists? Are all of them so self-unaware; are they ideologues who care nothing for the truth; scared for their jobs; or a combination of all three?

I think that for the major offenders that they have gone "all in" and it is too late to turn back. The few remaining viewers they have go there specifically for the echo chamber I would imagine and as long as there is still a market for that they are going to keep doing it. CNN and the like have already done too much damage to their name to start doing any sort of real journalism anymore. No one would believe them.

Pedo joe is both a comedy and a horror story in one

People in the media are praising that performance? I didn't watch it but the bits I did see were a disaster. Oh well, nothing surprises me about how the media treats Joe anymore so I guess this should have been expected.

Did you see the clip where someone asked him if he was excited about the press conference the day prior to it and Joe didn't know what they were talking about? That was gold.

Yes I did see that clip. Joe was running away from the media in that clip once again and kinda giggled as his handlers ushered him away once again. At some point even those people that voted for him are going to have to admit that this decision to put this man in the White House - legit or not, is a terrible mistake. The libs I know would say time and time again that Trump was an embarrassment to the United States... and Joe is better how? Because he obviously doesn't handle his own Twitter account?

the like / dislike ratio on all Joe stories on youtube tell a different story. Joe's voters didn't like Joe, they just wanted Trump out. But I still think that there was massive voter fraud as well.
