So a man known as Maneesh Sethi who is an American-indian , an entrepreneur is really so determined to break off his social media addiction and become productive in his own words....
So what did maneesh sethi do to start achieving that?? HE HIRED A SLAPPER...
I know you might be wondering what do I mean by a slapper?? Well maneesh sethi just made me realize that there are people that can be referred to as slapper and their profession is to slap people...lol...hilarious right??
So here is the gist , maneesh sethi who is confirmed to be the founder of "pavlok" , which is a wearable devices brand.....the man went on Craigslist to hire a woman and he is offering her up to 8$ per hour to help him monitor his screen and ensure she slaps him whenver he went on any social media platform most especially Facebook...
He said he took the step as a way of making sure he breaks free from the social media addiction he is experiencing for years and that the addiction is affecting his productivity in its business...
This act of his got popular when Elon musk reacted to the news....
I won't blame him though , I guess he felt that is the best way to solve his addiction to the social media and as long as it works for him then it is not a bad idea...lol..

maybe just doing use socials on your phone. That was phase one for me. On a side note i do find it amusing how certain people I know make a big show and dance about how they are going to stop using social media but before doing so they make massive lecturing posts on social media about how they are going to do so. Those people always come back too.
Good on him for getting his head out of the digital addiction. He probably had some fun with it as well as did the person he hired.
