Mind control using 5g? Or more?
We know they need 5G for iot (internet of things) and the sidewalk/mesh network tracking grid. it probably needed to scale up the cryptos they control to run global financials. dfinity will have it factored into growing their internetcomputer to meet the 2030 goal; takeover the worlds internet.
but going out on a limb here: considering that one of the most hyped features of 5G is the millions of connections it can handle, they may want it active so they can raise up a self aware A.I.
Still in maybe land, but we know for sure there is a race on to get there, and 5G dovetails nicely into the theoretical models of whats needed to allow an AI to reach/exceed human level.
