Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My goal was 60k Hive. And I made it! Now I’m on to my 70k stretch goal.
Last week I made 248.05, bringing me to 62000.85 total Hive Power. That’s 88.6% of my goal!
Math time. 70k - 62000.85 gives us 7999.15. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 258 Hive needed per day to reach 70k by that point. Yeah… with only a month left, and no cash to buy HIVE with, I may not be making this. But we’ll see how close I get! (Probably around 63k)
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Usually I only include last week in the silver charts, but trading this morning has pushed it near $60!! Geez. So I have to include that. A week or so ago when we passed $50, I joked about hitting $100 by the end of the year. Was I right?!
Wow. Anyway.
Here is a good looking coin that I came across today:
How about that, eh? Love it. But this looks like lot like the Fleischer Popeye, and it was still Bluto at that time, not Brutus yet. When they renamed him, he also grew into more a fat man than a strong man, right? I don’t know — I’m far from a Popeye expert. Cool coin anyway! Get it here.

It's just crazy how much silver has been going up. I'm glad I didn't hold out and made my purchases when I did. Still a far cry from this time last year.
Great job! 70K can wait until next year! Silver has been doing awesome, I never thought we were going to see more than $50 this year. Suddenly, $70 by Christmas might not surprise me now.
I always liked Popeye, although I don't have any silver bearing his image. One of these days I'll have to buy a Popeye round or coin. That one is pretty cool!
