Huhm, I don't even know what to say about this weather anymore and the reason is because it's not how it use to be anymore. Personally, that's my take on it. Things are a lot different now, you expect this and you get that, when you expect that, you get whatever, that has been the situation of the weather.
Presently I'm in Igbeti, a place in Oyo state, Nigeria. I just got here around November and it's been somehow. When I just arrived, people were all about the harmattan season, saying it's different here and trying to put fear in my heart, someone like me who doesn't cover up when sleeping or wear cardigans, they kept telling me how different it is here and how cold it can be. They asked me to just watch when it started between December-January, that I will testify to it too.
I had to get a blanket, tissue papers, inhalers and some nosemasks just to I would be prepared for the season they were talking about. But guess what, the season did came, there was cold, dusty air, dryness and all, it it was never like what they told me. It was even little compared to the ones I've experienced. And why I said earlier that things are different now was because of what they later said about it here too, they said it was different, that the season was nothing compared to the past ones, about two different people told me that I will take them for a liar now or someone who exaggerates because I didn't experience what they thought was the norms.
And trust me, I did my findings. Igbeti happens to be one place that's really known for it's severe hamattan. Yet, it came and felt nothing like it. I didn't even use any of the nosemasks I bought, and my blanket turned out to be a supporting pillow. So, what I'm saying in essence is that, it seems the climate is changing. We find out that rain ain't falling when we expect it too, sometimes it comes way sooner than expected and we see various seasons getting either shorter or longer that they used to.
Climate change is possible, and I can say we are really feeling and experiencing the change. And I really do not know why, maybe nature has just decides to change it's pattern or just show us that it can.

Each year comes with a twist, over the years there has been climate change. The effect of the seasons are decreasing. Even the north, the cold during December and January has reduce drastically, nothing remains the same

The pattern is changing with time, and the changes are not good for us; we need to suffer for it in the long run. Somehow, we are also responsible for it, as we are responsible for polluting the environment, which acts as the driving force for changing patterns.

Climate change and weather predictions are definitely not as predictable as before and now we can only estimate based on previous data.
