Well, let's start this way. While going through the weeks prompt, what came to my mind first was the picture of an eagle, even before reading the part where it was talked about as one of the guide. And the reason was because, while we were still going and attending Sunday school as kids, they always talked about the eagle. A lot of it's features were used to teach us.
Talking of how high it can really fly, talking of it's eyesight, talking of how long it could be in the sky, talking also of how long it could stay up there without flapping it's wings. All those features/attributes were being taught in our Sunday school classes then. Our teacher happens to love the Bible verse that talks about God renewing our strength like that of the eagle. There's a particular song that was extracted from the Bible that she loved to sing as well.
And maybe because of how she always refers to the eagle each time, I kind of developed an interest when I finally grew older and she wouldn't stop singing that song. I did my research and all and one thing that really stated with me was the eyesight of the eagle. I got to know that the eagle has the ability to spot a small prey from far above. I can't imagine how possible it is to be that far in the sky and still be able to pinpoint a prey down here, and be able to see and notice every movement. That is something that I would really love to have. As humans, there are times we stare at things that are right in front of us and still wouldn't see it. There are a lot of people battling with various eye disorders, and even those who aren't, there's still limit to what we can see and how far away we can see them.
There are a lot of dangers that we wouldn't fall into if our eyesight were like that of an eagle, there are a lot of things we would have seen and understand better before it even gets near to us, a lot of accidents, kidnapping and such would have been averted. We would be able to know where a particular path actually leads to and all. But with our kind of eyesight, until it gets right in front of us, we won't see it.
There are aotmof animals with wonderful senses, talking about the likes of dog with it's great sense of smell, some animals can hear the most silent sounds, some can see even in the dark. Well, that's how it is with all of creations, something special, something unique with each.
Still, if I had to choose one, it will be that of the eagle. It's eyesight to be precise. Here in Yoruba land, there's a popular saying that goes thus, "oju ni oba ara." Meaning, "the eyes is the king amongst body parts." And I very well agree to that, it's a out if you can see, how well you can and how far you can. Nobody can tell you this is A when it's B. Nobody call tell you this is rice when it's obvious it is not. So, when the eyesight is good, you will be able to navigate a lot of things, you will be able to see clearly, see ahead and even understand more.
I would love to have even if it's half of an eagle's eyesight. And if it were possible for us as humans to have it, a lot of things would be done better.

The eagle is one of the birds with great traits, I often call it king of birds. I heard that apart from it's powerful sight, it also has the ability to shed it's old feathers which renew it's strength in flight
