Karma is usually seen as when an individual reaps the fruit or consequences of their actions. In my opinion, I believe karma doesn't necessarily have to be all shades of bad, since it has to do with getting back the kind of energy we've given to someone or something in the past, so that means when you do good and in the near future, you reap good; we can as well say karma has caught up with you. It doesn't have to be the bad aspect all the time. But then Is karma actually real, and do everyone always get or face the consequences of their actions? In this article I'll be stating my take on these and much more.
I understand everyone thinks karma has to do with reaping bad things, and I can't blame them for thinking so; that was how I saw it too initially, and the first definition I got about it when I did my research years ago uses bad scenarios as examples. However, as I grow, I've come to use logical understanding to see things and not just what is written down about them, and that's why I'm saying karma can be good. I've done it; even the Bible said, "Give, and it shall be given up to you." That's indirectly karma as well, and that's what brings about my understanding of it in that light.
Personally, I don't think everyone gets karma for their actions as we all believe they ought to. I mean, come to think about it, when someone does something bad, we usually wait ahead, expecting something bad to happen to them so we can say that karma has finally caught up with them, but in the end nothing bad happens to them, and we begin to wonder if the universe is fair to allow such people to go scot-free. A typical example of these are the majority of Nigerian politicians, who cart away with the country's resources at the expense of the citizens, and at the end of the day, nothing bad will befall most of them, nor will they be tried by any court.
Take for example Diezani Alison-Madueke, former Petroleum Minister of Nigeria; on her path, karma actually caught up with her to an extent, such as having to forgo most of the assets she possesses via her fraudulent act, not forgetting how heartless she is to the point of purchasing a diamond bra that cost $12.8 million dollars, which is about 18.75 billion naira at today's exchange rate for just one bra. Aside from losing the majority of her assets purchased abroad, karma also caught up with her health-wise, whereby she was diagnosed with breast cancer. We can't necessarily say karma caught up with former president Buhari, because although he also was diagnosed with leukemia, and it was reported that that was what led to his death, he died at 82, so that's practically old enough.
So all I'm saying in a nutshell is that yes, I believe karma is real; I only have concern that it doesn't always happen as expected, and this has made me question the fairness of life, making it seem as though only certain people are targeted to get karma. I won't say I've ever done something so terrible that I'm afraid karma will catch up with me, although I've done a couple of things, but they weren't really bad to the point where I'll be gripped by fear of what it'll feel like to have its repercussions chasing me around.

I think your right that good can circle back too, and that felt clear when you mentioned the $12.8m diamond bra. That kind of excess often sends its invoice later through asset forfeits or just losing trust :)

Absolutely, hopefully everything will balance and not that only a few set of people will get karma, then and only then can we say it's spot on.

There are always consequences for every action. If someone is yet to reap the rewards of their actions and it seems like they are eating their cakes and having it, it is even more scary, lol.

You see for those who will think do not reap the bad they sow, God actually has His way of dealing with them. We might not know how but He surely will because no one ever runs away from the actions they are involved with- both good and bad.
