Building drum loops on the iPad is a lot of fun and there is just as much, if not more scope here than with traditional drum machines. So today I’m kicking off a new collection of useable drum loops with just one, from here I’ll add to the collection built using FAC Drumkit for the sounds and Octachron as the sequencer. Then later we shall offer other kinds of percussion instruments.
Plans are afoot to create samples based on Hivian drum kits, which will be great fun. We shall share some OneShot samples too.

I record these in AUM using quantum sync, you set the number of bars you wish to record, it triggers the sequencer and cycles for x number of bars, hit record the second time, it counts down for the remaining bars, stops, resulting in perfect loops.
