You wonder where the person you knew went
Human behaviour can leave you clueless sometimes
As everything you think you knew fades away
It's tricky, unpredictable and sometimes confusing
You see humans change over time
As their loyalty is determined by the opportunities they get
Our feelings will always get in the way of our thinking
Anyone who doesn't know how to master it
Would be tossed to and fro, leading to more confusion
There would always be earning signs of things to come
When they show you their true colours
When they show you signs of what is to come, believe it
We can't suppress who we are for a long stretch
We can hide only for a while before being found out
Never be too surprised with how everyone's behaviour evolves
It only means you can understand them better
Then know how well to handle them going forward
Keep your expectations moderate where humans are concerned
With more expectations come more disappointments
Time only helps in removing the façade

Change is constant, the phrase "true colors" really need to be eradicated. People change due to experiences, on different occasions comes different manage of approach, so when people react differently, it doesn't necessarily mean they've been hiding anything, it's just a reflex action as a result of the situation at hand.
No action would be considered blameless unless the will was so, for by the will the act was dictated.
People are different, and situation make people change, someone's true colour can come out when a situation unexpectedly comes out some friends are not what they thought they are not until a hard situation comes up, change is the only constant thing in life.
