Eighteen - depressed and confused
On how to do and start it all
The step ahead is steep
How do I climb, stay and move on?
These thoughts live rent-free in my head

The scares from friends
Their stories and experiences
Make me feel a little less confident
What if I fail? What if things don't pan out the way I want?
What would become of my dreams?

Still, I have hopes of accomplished goals and dreams?
Of a beautiful and better future?
And if it all turns out sour
Tell them at home that I tried
Tell them I prayed and I worked
Tell them I begged fate to align with my wishes

And above all, I say a prayer to the providence
That He lets me come out of
this race a winner and a victor

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
