Welcome the Startups community

Counting more than 400K followers, r/startups on Reddit is a one-of-a-kind resource for startuppers and entrepreneurs. Without any doubt, our startup community can do as well.

Welcome the Startups community, the place to learn how to launch, manage, develop, and promote startup ideas.

In Startups, you will be able to explore methodologies, resources, researches, tuts, and tips on launching, developing, and leading startups and their teams. You will be able to meet other startuppers and get to know their products. But most importantly, Startups will serve as a way for startups (and beyond) to promote themselves and forge new bonds.

Join us in creating a great place for the Startups community. Subscribe now, make sure to check out the rules and start posting immediately.

If you are really into startups and would like to contribute to the cause, please tell a bit about yourself in the comments and win a chance to become an early moderator.

Any comments or suggestions? Feel free to type your feedback in the comments.

Are you a mod over at /r/startups ?

Hello @steemitqa. Thanks for your question. There is no connection between the Startups community and r/startups on Reddit. The example of r/startups is to show how much interest such a community can gain. Hopefully, the Startups community will achieve similar results.

Awesome ... I just joined the Group... I will make posts on how to make a Living with Youtube Videos.

That sounds interesting @offgridlife. However, make sure the video is startup related. Perhaps you could use that knowledge to teach how to effectively promote a product or an idea on Youtube and earn some bucks from it as well.

Ok - I will edit it ...

Finally there is a startup community. I think it was lacking in steemit but with the communities kicking in, anything is possible !

I would love to see fellow entrepreneurs share their stories, tips and resource to kick off their project. Perhaps even, it can be a place for entrepreneurs to collaborate, I mean this already happened in the past. Steemit is a perfect place to meet people who are enthusiastic about creating projects and making it happen.

I personally own steemit/ selfimprovement community with startups mindset too. Quite excited to see yours kicking in though !

Nice @macchiata! Thanks a lot for your feedback. We'll follow your community. There may definitely be synergies between the two.

@hive-112721, Hope that this Startup Community will drive more Startup Ideas 💡. Good wishes from my side and stay blessed team.

Thanks for your support @chireerocks!

Startup business is getting bigger and evolving each day which is why having new ideas is important to keep up in the industry. Here's also an article about how startup studios help find the next big idea.

Dear @hive-112721

It's always great to see new projects and communities. And I surely wish you guys all the best.

most of the users around here are somewhat interested in business topics, entrepreneurship, and the like, yet no community existed for that. No worries! That is fixed now.

To certain degrees communities like SteemLeo or Project.hope are covering those topics.

ps.
I've read your rules and Ive noticed that you expect publications to be min 1000 words long? That's a lot. Based on my experience - if reader cannot finish your post in 5 min then he will start scrolling down. Attention span is quite short. 1000 words - not many people would ever read through it.

Anyway that's just my litte opinion. Joined already. Will follow you work,
Yours, Piotr

Hi @crypto.priotr. Thanks a lot for your feedback. It is great that there are other communities looking to promote the same topics. Definitely an opportunity to collaborate.

As for the rules, please note that the requirement is 1000 chars long, not words. It could be that is not clear enough and it will be fixed.

Hi again @hive-112721

As for the rules, please note that the requirement is 1000 chars long, not words. It could be that is not clear enough and it will be fixed.

Thank you for this clarification.

ps.
Can I ask you for little favour? I joined contest called "Community of the week" with project I manage and I would be grateful if you could RESTEEM it and help me get some exposure and drop some encouraging comment :)

Link to my post: on steemit or on steempeak

Thanks :)
Yours, Piotr

Hello, what is the best way to get in touch with you @geido ?

Hey @travelfeed, you can find me on Discord geido#6463

Hi everyone.

My name is Ana, I'm from Canada;born, raised, ancestors were the first settlers.

I have a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Certifies in event planning, reiki, security guard, and more.

My dream is to start a soup truck (I think there's enough fries and dogs at this point) and a unique massage studio. Both of those ideals require financial investments that I cannot even consider right now.

I'm also an affiliate of a few known and lesser known businesses- Amazon, Indigo, David's Tea, to name a few.

CURRENTLY, I manage a Facebook group that offers discounts and deals to US and Canadian addresses. The group also serves as a micro-blog in which I provide tips and encourage smart spending and saving for everyone around the world. 🌎

I want to create a retail concept that is compassionate and respectful to it's buyers- not manipulative and glutinous.

I have big plans for the evolution of my Facebook group but won't get into that right now.

Please find the link on my profile if you're interested.

Thanks for reading.
Much love. 💘
