Despite the fact everything is different now in covid days and the average person works from home and experiences very little outside, it is still nice to make the best of it. We already did this by swooning with the most beautiful looks during Paris Fashion Week and by entertaining ourselves with the best beauty podcasts during a long walk. In addition to these activities, a good dose of self-care is more important than ever. Learning to love your unmade morning face is one point of attention, but it is just as important to indulge yourself in the bathroom every now and then.
Ensure radiant skin with the finest masks and the right serums for your skin type. This makes each of the make-up looks below look even more beautiful.

Actually, we can broaden this trend. What we saw with Vivienne Westwood, among others, were faces conceived with 'accessories'. From large glue-on glitter to a blackened golden skin. Perhaps the latter two are more suitable for your Zoom Halloween party and less for the average conference call, but they stand out. Try a pop of eye shadow that you would otherwise ignore - and you'll be the center of attention at any meeting or house party session.

STEP BY STEP First, apply an ( eyeshadow ) base. This increases the durability of the smokey eye look, and will leave the make up on longer.
Draw a line at your eyelash line with a black eye pencil. I use a soft, thick pointed kohl but I also have a liquid one for the second part of the smokey eye. Here I show that one on my hand. In the photo its in the first layer the kohl one.

You do not have to apply this very precisely, shading is being done after. Soo thats why a smokey eye is possible for everybody, when you go wrong, just stay and blend again. Apply a dark shade of eyeshadow from the outside of your lids and blend with the eye pencil line you applied. Like paint just blend the two together.
Then apply the color to your eyelid. I used greyish black. Now take a light eyeshadow color. Apply this from your eyebrow towards the inside of your eyes. Mix this with the dark color you have already applied.

Now draw a line above your lash line with liquid eyeliner. It will be more shiney and will be wet after applying so just take a minute to let it dry before opening your eye. Line your lower lash line with a dark eye pencil. Blend this line and the eyeliner of your upper lid both. This will give you a more intense result.

Now take a medium shade eyeshadow and apply it on the moving part of the eyelid. Then apply an eyelash base, i have a transparent one, there are also white mascaras. This will ensure that your mascara will have an even greater effect. Finish by applying with a black mascara to complete your smokey eye look.
I use these two.

Statement lip
If we've learned anything recently, it's to take a step back. The classic make-up look is a reflection of this. Go for a strong base with the right foundation, a subtle blush and a little lick of mascara. Do you have full eyebrows of your own? Comb them slightly into shape, but do not make them too perfect. I use a gel to keep them in shape. A brown/purplish ( for me ) statement lip is always a good idea - it adds that little bit of extra oemphf to your day.
And now in the lockdown sometimes just that is enough. i understand that the smokey eye is not appropriate for the home work or home school, but it was my anniversary sunday so I just went ahead.
