Why are you writing this reading blog I hear you ask, well I will explain now. The fact that this Hive platform is diverse and has so much to offer, also means that there are a lot of rules, do’s and don’t you need to read.
Reading is knowledge and the succes that will be possible here on this blockchain of opportunities. And I have been here 3,5 years and still am amazed every week with all we have here and all that is being done to make it the best platform since the former one.
Today I had two encounters online and the fact that those people
( both newbies, I hate the name and word, lets say new arrivals )
Arrived to this for them new platform, and that is great but when they make mistakes or need information, that is available both in blogs, vlogs and in peakd, its strange that advice given is not being read.
In comments when you reply thats a image is not sourced the new arrival is surprised and even offended that this is the reply. Sourcing online is a thing, when you don’t know, read all about it online.
Also in discord its the same, for those of you that don’t know, I do my fair share of helping out in discord the Terminal as one of the three lady founders and part of an awsome staff. In discord the Terminal we help new arrivals that accept an invite to join, after I read their #introduceyourself blog. Its something I have been doing for three years for an account called @heyhaveyamet, I do that daily with @jamerussell
Back to reading, when people arrive in the terminal we ask to leave an little intro and a link to their last blog. That way we can give a role, easy peasy I think, but for some reason even that is difficult. But even worse the fact there is a library of hive made by co founder @thekittygirl, a gem, and has all that is needed to be successful and to understand the platform, is skipped with a touch of a key on the keyboard.
Than if there are questions, there are so many servers where you can ask a question, and the answer will help you blog your way to the future.
And when you found a place on discord you like in discord and there are so many, make connections and always BACKREAD , yes backread. There maybe information you yourself can use. It’s free and may even give you ideas for a new blog.
Reading and gathering information is free, so use it to your advantage! Your hive wallet will ove it!
Another thing or rather advice ( I fell for it today, but he I also am just a human, blond but don’t hold that against me )
Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT ask for votes! Votes are a token of appreciation, or given for help, your 23 word blog ( I wouldn’t call it that but ok ) is not worth a vote and you didn’ even give citation so no I will not, and the other one got me to help out, not a big deal and I powered up directly so that made me a helper bee along the way, so no worries about me, but I felt shit after I found out he did the same to others.
And did not read any of the answers given, hell he even left during helping out. I have a job aswell, If I would do that at my job I would be fired in no time. But maybe I am doing things wrong hahaha that is also a possibility. Maybe I should ask for more votes. Yes vote please, I am here always, an addict and I mean well. No way I won’t ask, what you see is what you get, and in the end, most off the ones that don’t read and commit won’tmake it here. I know so because I saw so many done te road and arent active anymore. So I will do my thing online and in discord, and I will read! ¿Por qué estás escribiendo este blog de lectura? Te escucho preguntar, bueno, te lo explicaré ahora. El hecho de que esta plataforma Hive sea diversa y tenga mucho que ofrecer, también significa que hay muchas reglas, lo que se debe y lo que no es necesario leer.
Leer es conocimiento y el éxito que será posible aquí en esta cadena de bloques de oportunidades. Y he estado aquí 3,5 años y todavía me sorprende cada semana con todo lo que tenemos aquí y todo lo que se está haciendo para que sea la mejor plataforma desde la anterior.
Hoy tuve dos encuentros en línea y el hecho de que esas personas
(ambos novatos, odio el nombre y la palabra, digamos recién llegados)
Llegó a esta nueva plataforma para ellos, y eso es genial pero cuando se equivocan o necesitan información, que está disponible tanto en blogs, vlogs como en Peakd, es extraño que los consejos que se dan no se estén leyendo.
En los comentarios, cuando responde que no se obtiene una imagen, el recién llegado se sorprende e incluso se ofende de que esta sea la respuesta. El abastecimiento en línea es una cosa, cuando no lo sepa, lea todo al respecto en línea.
También en discordia es lo mismo, para aquellos de ustedes que no lo saben, hago mi parte justa de ayudar en discordia a la Terminal como una de las tres fundadoras y parte de un personal increíble. En Discord the Terminal ayudamos a los recién llegados que aceptan una invitación para unirse, después de leer su blog #introduceyourself. Es algo que he estado haciendo durante tres años para una cuenta llamada @heyhaveyamet, lo hago a diario con @jamerussell
Volviendo a la lectura, cuando la gente llega a la terminal les pedimos que dejen una pequeña intro y un enlace a su último blog. De esa manera podemos dar un papel, fácil, creo, pero por alguna razón incluso eso es difícil. Pero lo que es peor, el hecho de que hay una biblioteca de colmena hecha por el cofundador @thekittygirl, una joya, y tiene todo lo que se necesita para tener éxito y comprender la plataforma, se omite con solo tocar una tecla en el teclado.
Que si hay preguntas, hay tantos servidores donde puedes hacer una pregunta, y la respuesta te ayudará a escribir tu camino hacia el futuro.
Y cuando encuentras un lugar en la discordia que te gusta en la discordia y hay tantos, haz conexiones y siempre ATRÁS, sí, atrasado. Quizás haya información que usted mismo pueda utilizar. Es gratis e incluso puede darte ideas para un nuevo blog.

Los votos son una muestra de agradecimiento, o se dan para ayudar, su blog de 23 palabras (no lo llamaría así, pero está bien) no vale un voto y ni siquiera dio una cita, así que no, no lo haré, y el otro recibió yo para ayudar, no es gran cosa y encendí directamente para que me convirtiera en una abeja ayudante en el camino, así que no se preocupe por mí, pero me sentí una mierda después de descubrir que él hizo lo mismo con los demás.
Y no leyó ninguna de las respuestas dadas, diablos, incluso se fue mientras ayudaba. Yo también tengo un trabajo. Si hiciera eso en mi trabajo, me despedirían en poco tiempo. Pero tal vez estoy haciendo las cosas mal jajaja, eso también es una posibilidad. Quizás debería pedir más votos. Si vota por favor, aquí estoy siempre, adicto y con buenas intenciones. De ninguna manera no voy a preguntar, lo que ves es lo que obtienes, y al final, la mayoría de los que no leen y no se comprometen no lo lograrán aquí. Lo sé porque vi a muchos en la carretera y ya no están activos. Así que haré lo mío en línea y en discordia, ¡y leeré! A veces la gente aplica la regla del menor esfuerzo, que básicamente consiste en pedir información a otros, aún cuando saben y tienen la capacidad de buscar información, leerla, analizarla y aprovecharla. Esto lo vemos cuando solicitan invitaciones a las comunidades de Discord aún cuando tales enlaces estén disponibles en las comunidades de Hive, o cuando, como lo señalas en tu post, están en una constante campaña de pedir votos, y aún cuando les expliques que es contraproducente, hacen caso omiso a las recomendaciones, y solamente comprenden el asunto cuando les dices que a un curador tal conducta no le agradará y eso implicará que no les voten. As a "Newbie" you will make mistakes as you learn your ways around, I certainly did. But I can also recommend to engage and put some effort into this. It makes us all feel better about this place and rewards will start to flow equally.
I suppose some don't read the rules here because:
a) They are here just for the tokens we all came here for them at first I would think
b) They don't care
c) They don't know where to look at for rules
d) They may get confused because it says decentralized
e) They see posts and rewards with no effort behind and copy that behavior

All so true, and you know i cant blame them , because finding help is difficult we have been there that the reason i am one of the founders for the discord the terminal to help new arrivals or redfish from whatever language to help out and hopefully get the result of a great hive ride.

It may be hard but not impossible to find help. Just as you mentioned, there are several discord offersI have a discord, just don't use it that much, bulldog-joy#7793.
See, I was totally new in the social media world, but yet I have managed to understand at least the basic rules. No matter what language you speak, a little common sense and observation and you are good to go. I would say it takes no more than 6 months to figure it out.
Also, if people understand which tags to use and whom to ask for votes, they should understand everything else without a question. I would think they don't care if they don't follow the basic rules by then.
But in the end they might disappear after a while, just as you said. I don't mean it in a judgemental way, everyone can try their luck, for some it works, for others not.
Also I totally understand that not everyone is having the same tools, meaning internet connection, hardware, computer skills etc. That is totally fine, but even if you are here with little possibilities, one can feel if you take it serious or not. And that makes the effort as well, you can show ppl that, maybe explain yourself so others understand for example.
I just wish for Hive to grow in a decent pace, with decent people and decent content. Mistakes will be made but this could have the potential to become a different, maybe better place, if all work together towards it.

We are well under way to be the best decentralised one there is with so much dapps and frontends there is still a road ahead but if we all do what is nesseccary and pay it forward I think we will be the early adapters for what is the future

I guess some people are in a rush to success they failed to appreciate the process. Learning is the process. Reading is part of learning. Some people think they can just come to hive and make money. Getting rich with one or two articles. Before I decided to join hive, I have done some research, I read some articles about it on the net. So I already have a little idea to proceed when I am finally registered.
I myself don't believe in instant success. It takes time to success. Takes lots of learning. And that means I am gonna need lots of help. That's why making friends is important. I appreciate any help I can get. It's not about vote only. Helps also in the form of knowledge. And also a nice friendly chat. Getting related is a must, I think.

So true I have been here 3,5 years every day and I do have some hive but not major rich. But it’s done with work and commitment. The hive assets we call them all are there in the terminal, they are free well most of them. It’s nice when a blog has a footer. You can use peakd drafts or templates to keep it to yourself and use it when a blog is made and add it
So when you are in discord I will help you make a footer with the moving one

I took my time to read every part of this post (basically, that's kinda the goal of the post, for people to read), and I was here thinking I was the only one who have noticed a lot of Persons don't read posts, I have seen posts with over a 100+ upvotes yet there is zero engagement in the comment, and it always make me question sometimes, is it that people just give upvotes even when they didn't enjoy the content or some get favoured? It just something I ask myself sometimes. Hive is a beautiful place, I don't get enough time to engage on discord, because I am not chanced but when I read a post I really enjoyed (like this one), I don't just share my upvotes but I also leave a comment. I am glad I saw this post, thanks for sharing your thought with us.

And yes people leave votes because that also is curation, and being active and also vote trails are maybe causing just votes.
The fact that people ask certain questions or makes certain mistakes indicates they havent been reading or havent been guided, or were looking in the wrong spot fore help if there was any.
Hive can be a great ride but can be a dissapointment aswell.
I often leave a message or ask a link just to see if people read it, till now some did some didnt its their loss, i am here for me and to have writing fun and that works well.

You're welcome. I agree with you about hive being a great ride, especially if you let yourself gain the different experience there is on the platform. Well, the fact most of them don't read the links you drop when you comment in their post does not mean you should stop the good work. Definitely there is someone out there that really would appreciate that assistant, so it's best not to let other persons wrong doings affect the fine act you've been carrying out.

Good advice, I true engagement can only come from taking the time to properly understand someone's post. I try and only give posts a big upvote if they've commented on at least 5 other posts recently, and this is just a bare bones minimum that many Hivers fail to meet.
