Desde muy pequeños los niños en Venezuela 🇻🇪 hacemos la Carta al Niño Jesús, es una tradición que ha prevalecido en el tiempo. Debo destacar que en mi familia es costumbre invitar a todos los miembros a redactarla, niños y adultos hacen su carta solicitando se les conceda al menos uno de los deseos escritos en ella. Generalmente a los niños se le pide desde mediados de año pensar en cuáles serían sus deseos, enfocándose en regalos materiales, sobretodo juguetes.
From very young children in Venezuela 🇻🇪 we make the Letter to the Child Jesus, it is a tradition that has prevailed over time. Para ser merecedor de algún regalo del Niño Jesús todos en la familia deben demostrar un comportamiento adecuado según las normas y reglas que en ella se impongan, incluso entre los adultos se motiva a un buen desempeño durante el año; cómo hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, empleado, amigo. Cercana las fechas decembrinas se escuchan más las frases "pídeselo al Niño Jesús", "pórtate bien para que el Niño te traiga algo", "no te traerá nada el Niño". Son comunes usar también como amenaza para que los niños tengan buen comportamiento y sobretodo los que están en edad escolar traigan buenas calificaciones a casa. Aquí en Venezuela 🇻🇪 el primer corte evaluativo en educación se entrega antes de las vacaciones de Navidad. Estos regalos se colocan al pie del árbol navideño o cerca de algún adorno el día 25 de diciembre. Se anima a los niños a dormir temprano para que cuando amanezca ya el Niño ha llegado y dejado los presentes. Es muy divertido para los adultos porque los niños insisten en esperar al Niño y el adulto insiste en que se duerman.

La figura de Santa en cuanto a regalos la usamos ya para los últimos días del año. Por lo menos en mi familia, unas horas antes de recibir el año y disfrutar de la rica cena navideña hacemos un intercambio. Mi papá Q.E.P.D nunca dejó de entregarnos su regalo de Santa, lo hizo hasta el último año que estuvo con nosotros ❤️ esta tradición la mantendremos en la familia hasta que Dios lo permita.
The figure of Santa in terms of gifts we already use for the last days of the year.
