Hey! I'm glad that you shared your insights, as I feel the same too therefore that is why I felt inspired to write about it. I believe that genuine connections should not be forced and if someone has to constantly make efforts to have someone's attention, then it is not right.
Putting up a facade is damaging for self esteem and personal growth. The show can't go on forever and at one time the bubble bursts. It looks like something out of the blue, but pain and suffering can be covered with fancy filters. I gravitate towards being authentic with yourself and others, on the long term it is the best strategy for mental health.
