Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Saturday 18th July 2020!! Happy WEEKEND!

Yesterday, we said goodbye to some guests and cleaned the room, ready for the next visitors:

I made these two sheep (needle felting):

I celebrated @mariannewest’s achievement of 1000 freewrite daily prompts!

I wrote a 50 word story and made a video of the story:

Unfortunately, the evening turned a bit sour as we had a review from some guests who stayed. They complained because they had to eat breakfast alone in their room (perhaps they hadn't heard there is an annoying little bug going around at the moment and there is this thing called social distancing we are all supposed to observe).

Apparently, to top it all, I wasn't very chatty when I delivered breakfast.

On the first morning, when I brought breakfast, this particular couple were up but not dressed - not naked, I hasten to add, but still in their bedclothes - and on the second morning couldn't even be arsed to get out of bed (just called out to say the door was open). I am not sure what conversation they expected to have while they lounged in bed and I stood there awkwardly in a mask.

Perhaps, they were expecting something different. perhaps they frequent “specialist” establishments wear the owner gets maksed up and comes into their bedroom for “different“ reasons.

Who knows.

Maybe I should wear this outfit in future?

That said, we've had some lovely guests in the last week. Most people have said really nice things and been understanding that it is pretty difficult at the moment.

The problem is that bad review scores don’t reflect well on the business.
