আশা করছি শীতের উষ্ণতায় সবাই সুস্থ্য এবং ভালো আছো। যেহেতু এখন সময় সন্ধ্যা এবং সাথে চলছে শীতকাল, তাই আজ আমি তোমাদের সাথে শীতকালের চমৎকার একটি ভিন্ন অনুভূতির গল্প শেয়ার করবো। কারন আমাদের সময় শীতকাল মানেই ছিলো নতুন কিছুর অনুভূতির গল্প এবং তা উপভোগ করার সুযোগ।

I hope everyone is healthy and well in the warmth of winter. Since now is the time of evening and with winter going on, today I will share with you the story of a wonderful different feeling of winter. Because winter in our time meant the story of feeling something new and the opportunity to enjoy it.
তবে সত্যি বলতে এখন আর সেই পরিবেশ টা নাই, কারন সময়ের প্রভাবে সকল কিছুই পরিবর্তন হতে বাধ্য। আধুনিক সভ্যতা এবং সমাজ ব্যবস্থায় অতীতের সেই ঐতিহ্য আর খুজে পাওয়া যাবে না। মানুষ এখন আধুনিক হয়েগেছে, যার কারনে অনেক খিছুই কারতে তারা অস্বীকৃতি জানায়। যে বিষয়টি আগে সর্বাদিক জনপ্রিয় ছিলো, আজ তা অপছন্দনীয় একটি ইস্যু হয়ে দাড়িয়েছে।
But to be honest, that environment is no more, because under the influence of time, everything is bound to change. That tradition of the past can no longer be found in modern civilization and social systems. People have become modern, which is why they refuse to do so. What was once the most popular issue has now become an unpopular issue.
আমি সত্যি বলছি, আগে শীতকালের স্কুলের ছুটির সময় আমরা সবাই গ্রামের বাড়ীতে চলে যেতাম, পরিবারের বড়দের সাথে নানা ধরনের গল্প করতাম। বিশেষ করে তাদের অতীত এবং ঐতিহ্য শুনতাম খুব আগ্রহ নিয়ে। বড়রা তাদের স্মৃতি বিজড়িত নানা ঘটনা আমাদের শুনাতেন, আমরা সেগুলো মনযোগ দিয়ে শুনতাম এবং স্মৃতি হিসেবে সেগুলোকে মনে রাখার চেষ্টা করতাম।
To be honest, we all used to go to the village house during the winter school holidays and talk to the elders of the family. I listened to their past and tradition with great interest. The adults would listen to us with their memories, we would listen to them attentively and try to remember them as memories.
কিন্তু বর্তমান প্রজন্ম এগুলোকে কল্প কাহিনী বলে উড়িয়ে দিতে চায়, তারা এগুলোকে নিজেদের ঐতিহ্য হিসেবে মানতে নারাজ। যার কারনে তারা এগুলো শুনতে চায় না, তাদের দৃষ্টিতে এগুলো মানে সময় নষ্ট করা। তারা এই সব অতীত ঐতিহ্য ধরে রাখতে নারাজ। কারন তারা ব্যস্ত আধুনিক প্রযুক্তি নির্ভর নানা ভিডাইস নিয়ে। কিন্তু আমাদের সময় আমরা এসব ঐতিহ্য নিয়েই সময় উপভোগ করতাম।
But the present generation wants to dismiss these as fairy tales, they are reluctant to accept them as their own tradition. This is why they don’t want to hear it, in their eyes it means wasting time. They are reluctant to hold on to all these past traditions. Because they are busy with various devices relying on modern technology. But in our time we used to enjoy time with these traditions.
তবে আমি আজ শীতকালের সন্ধ্যার সময়গুলো উপভোগ করার কিছু স্মৃতি শেয়ার করবো। সন্ধ্যায় আমাদের গ্রামের বাড়ীতে নানা ধরনের পিঠার উৎসবের আয়োজন করা হতো, আর এই আয়োজন চলতে সারাদিন ব্যাপী। আমাদের বাড়ীতে চাল গুড়া করার ঢেকি ছিলো, সেখানে সবাই আনন্দ নিয়ে চাল ভাঙাতো। তারপর সেগুলোকে রোদ্রে শুকানো হতে। সন্ধ্যা হওয়ার সাথে সাথে চলতো সেগুলোর মাধ্যমে পিঠা তৈরীর আয়োজন।
But today I will share some memories of enjoying the winter evening times. In the evenings, a variety of cake festivals were held at our village home, and these events continued throughout the day. We had a Dheki in our house, where everyone would break rice with joy. Then let them be sun-dried. As soon as it was evening, they used to make cakes through them.
একপাশে আমরা ছোটরা বড়দের সাথে গল্প শুনতে বসতাম, অন্যদিকে বাকিরা পিঠা তৈরীতে ব্যস্ত থাকতো। গল্প শুনার সাথে সাথে চলতো গরম পিঠা খাওয়ার আনন্দ। সত্যি সে সময়গুলো ছিলো ভিন্ন রকম, যার কারনে আমাদের মাঝে তৈরী হতো ভিন্ন রকম কিছু অনুভূতি। তখন পিঠা তৈরী হতো কাঠের লাকড়ির চুলায়। যার কারনে পিঠার আসল স্বাদ পাওয়া সম্ভব হতো।
On the one hand we would sit and listen to stories with the little ones, on the other hand the rest would be busy making cakes. As soon as I heard the story, the joy of eating hot cake continued. In fact, those times were different, because of which we had different feelings. Then the cake was made in a wooden stove. Due to which it was possible to get the real taste of the cake.
প্রযুক্তির উন্নতির কারনে সব পাল্টে গেছে, গ্যাস নির্ভর চুলা তৈরী হয়েছে, কিন্তু এগুলোতে তৈরী পিঠায় সে অতীতের স্বাদ পাওয়া যায় না। কিংবা অতীতের পিঠা তৈরীর উৎসবমুখর সেই পরিবেশ এখন আর তৈরী হয় না। কারন সকল কিছু প্রযুক্তির মাঝে খুজে পাওয়া যাবে না, কিছু অতীত কিংবা ঐতিহ্য পরিবেশের সাথে মিশে থাকে। যার কারনে আমরা পরিবেশের সাথে মিশে সকল কিছু উপভোগ করতাম।
Everything has changed due to the advancement of technology, gas dependent stoves have been made, but the cakes made in them do not have the taste of the past. Or the festive atmosphere of past cake making is no longer created. Because not everything can be found in technology, some past or tradition is mixed with the environment. This is why we enjoyed everything in harmony with the environment.
