Yes, it really is a challenging time. I have that same feeling some days, that the pandemic has cast a terrible pall over everything - all prospects for the future, all choices and daily activities, and everything we may have been working on or striving toward that was halted in mid-stride.

I do think there is hope. And, as sardonic as it sounds, I also remind myself that it could be much worse. We could be experiencing a pandemic where few people survive. Or living in the 1930s during the Depression and the Dust Bowl. Or a zombie appocalypse! But at this moment, we can still go to stores as long as we wear a mask. We can go out to the trails and walking paths and get fresh air and exercise. Twice last weekend, my husband and I actually sat out on a patio at restaurants that serve you as long as you go in wearing a mask. It felt like a little bit of life.

The times could get rough - much worse than they are now. But as you said, there is likely a vaccine on the horizon, and that will be a game changer. It will lift the gray!

Yes I do agree with this. It certainly could be much worse. Its just for some of us old folks, every day counts lol.
