This is not necessarily a happy song but this band's music always makes me feel ( a lot of strong emotions ). I don't know any other band like it. Their music was recommended to me by a girl I dated a couple of times, back in 2014, I believe. We never became a couple but I'm grateful for her mentioning Future Islands ( how can you not love this name! )
This is one of my very favorite songs of theirs but I like many many many of their songs. If you've never heard of FI, I recommend you Google them and watch one of their concerts, as their front man dances like no one I've ever known and seems to be sent to this planet to perform his songs. So powerful! I can't help but love it.

These past weeks I’ve been listening to African music from different countries but mainly from Congo, Senegal and Kenya amongst others since I’ve been requested a song for a podcast about Congo.
Those sounds are root from our current music and when you listen to them carefully you can recognise rithms and melodies used by our most usual genres.
Here I will add a musician widely known in the African sphere, the great Youssou N'Dour a senegalese artist making a collab (of a famous song) with Swedish singer Neneh Cherry who I used to be a fan when I was young (I’m still young but in my soul) ....

I have been voting on a few posts when i saw @jaynie post about Track of the Week. I love listening to music even more so since my girls bought me am Alexa for mother's day. I have my tunes playing most of the evening. They really help settle my head for sleep.
Anyway i have a few songs that i have loved for a very long time.
1st is of course from the great man himself Elvis Presley, i am a massive fan of his music and he was so good looking, beautiful man. My favourite doing is JUST PRETEND its duet after he died with Helene Fischer.
My next favourite is from my favourite boy ban now man band Take That, NEVER FORGET i love the words and music plus seeing the boys life singing It makes it extra special. Ive followed this band from when they started back in 1990. I cried when they split up and cried again when they got back together.
These 2 songs are the ones i go to listen to first, they set my mood. Unfortunately my really bad singing brings every one else down.

I personally can't stop listening to this song. it's sad and the combination of good guitar play, beautiful old and sad voice and the lyrics is addictive. I recently discovered him and yeah I listen to it that often that I need to cover it to get it out of my head for some time:
