Wonderful Sunday - The joy of creation

It’s been a week since I didn’t post here on Hive, so it’s time to do it again.
To tell you the truth, I don’t like to sit in front of the computer because I feel a lot better outside and I have a lot to do anyway. My summer will probably be a lot busier than last year, I want to actively relax and enjoy working, that is, doing what I love.
Earlier last week, I spontaneously organized a small craft gathering in Vereb (not at the riding school, but at the other end of the street, at a painter friend of mine). The concept was the creative recycling of paper.
I already have a sophisticated technique that I have been practicing and developing for a very long time. Now is the time to pass on the knowledge to others.
I advertised this current workshop for adults, but then kids joined in and it was a pleasure to watch it as they created. Unfortunately, too many pictures were taken of the event during the creation because I had to help others and there was little time.
A couple of weeks ago, I showed how my wrapped/rolled paper objects are made. Here, in this workshop, it was not important for the participants to create perfect and large-scale objects, but to have a sense of success with a small object.
One of the kids, an 8-year-old girl, was so adept at rolling paper that many adults wouldn’t have been able to do what she did.

I show some snapshots and a beautiful finished job.

The workshop lasted much longer than I had planned, but none of us cared, we were in no hurry to get anywhere. When the kids got tired of painting, they went to play, the two little girls bounced on a trampoline, and the boys played football.
Eventually we packed up and some of us went over to the horses across the street where we drank poppy drinks and picked poppy petals to take home. I’ve never drank a poppy drink before, but it tasted what I tasted. Sugar syrup should be made from the petals and diluted with water. I'll try soon. Contrary to misconception, it has no toxic or narcotic effects.
