That is an interesting look into a french bakery. I heard that macarons are quite challenging to make so thats awesome that you were able to learn, in France of all places.
My wife likes to bake and I really want her to learn how to make choux pastry. Its such a versatile desert pastry and I love eclairs and profiterols

Yes macarons could be tricky. It was a relief, because I didn't want to mess it up, but with the supervision of the pastry chef it worked out fine in the end. 🙂 It was fun, I am sure your wife will enjoy learning it and it would be a win-win if ever.
