Halloween in the US seems to have been heading more into an adult holiday.
Living in the rural country, we never had traditional trick or treaters, due to the distances between homes. We usually piled in the car and I took them around to see friends in the neighborhood which would inevitable end up with an invite in for donuts and cider. It wasnt the same but we didnt have to be concerned with food safety either. :)
Donuts and ciders sound lovely. Better I think:)
