The #beersaturday initiative is longer around on Steem/Hive than I am. And as a lover of (predominantly Belgian) beer I always meant to participate in the #beersaturday challenge, yet somehow never came around to it.
Today is a perfect day in the Netherlands. Clear blue sky, sunny yet not too warm. And so we are sitting in the garden, beneath the wisteria for the shade, drinking our Saturday afternoon beer.
My favorite beers are Westmalle Tripel and Duvel, specifically Duvel Triple Hop. Westmalle Tripel is perfect for colder weather and not so much for warmer weather. So, today it is time for Duvel Triple Hop.
It was already in my second filling that I suddenly remembered to take a picture of my beer, the wisteria and generally of the nice weather and post it for the challenge.
The beer (Duvel Triple Hop) is the best there is. Period. Well, together with Westmalle Triple of course. Duvel is bitterly as it should be (most beers nowadays are too sweet), and the Triple Hop variant is a bit stronger than the plain variant. The yeast in the bottle adds to the taste, but if you don't want it, you can leave it out, by pouring carefully.
One of the best beers in the world, the best weather you can wish for and the best company (my wife, sorry, no pictures allowed...)
Even in Corona-times, life is not so bad.
I had such an awesome beer adventure in Nederland I think about it all the time. The first place in the world where I didn't miss pints!

Then you should go to Belgium once, the true home of the 'Trappist'-style of beer!
We need to plan an BEER event in Belgium whenever we all are allowed to travel again.
Would be easily a party with 20 or 30 beerlovers
I know just the place: "Het bierparadijs" (Beer Paradise) in Transportzone Meer.
A large Hall with Belgian beers available in large quantities. Then erveryone can stock up nicely
sounds cool - guess we need some beds close by....
