Our public streets, malls and restaurants etc are all open as usual but our beaches are closed. It’s a bit of an odd restriction as now pavements are busier than ever and more congested. We also have many townships and folk using public taxi busses that are allowed 100% capacity with little to no sanitising. If folk could at least walk on the beach it would increase the amount of space we all got to share. We also have so many people in townships living below the breadline that a full lockdown cannot be enforced as the government is broke and can’t give grants and subsidies... stuck between a rock and a hard place. People have to be able to make a living. But praying the government can at least sort out a vaccination program real soon. South Africa is not at the front of the cue like the US and UK unfortunately. Pray for your African brothers and sister on this side of the world...

Hmm, we are in full lockdown here. Do they think walking on the beach spreads the virus more? Sitting on it could be banned.., common sense.

Exactly my thoughts...
