Funeral Bagpipe
I close my eyes and dream inside.
My dream box is empty
follows the rhythm of a fine hourglass.
While my soul wanders
by already crossed corners,
life is shaken by thunder.
Storm winds are blowing
and inside you feel thick drops
penetrating the red stars.
Now I'm in the dark, disoriented.
It all sounds like one big night
with its blinkings and heavy silence.
My step gets thinner
where I don't control and stagger
in a fire trail.
And I crunch like a wounded whisper
by the grace of fire and flame.
It rains bullets and their buzzing passes through me.
The words that haunt my head
sounds like rain, bullets and arrows
on the last night of the world.
There is a halo that cuts me at its edges,
a chain holds it up as a medal
encouraging me to play another round.
I feel like I'm walking on my own
and I sound like a broken watch.
I recover another cracked self on my pieces.
My chains make noise
that put the defective parts together
His 'Trink, trink!' comes and goes like a funeral bagpipe.
I am the widow of myself.
I don't see a way out of this circle of hell,
but, I close my eyes and dream.
Gaita fúnebre
Cierro los ojos y sueno.
Mi caja de los sueños se vacía
al ritmo de un reloj de arena fina.
Mientras mi alma vaga
por esquinas ya cruzadas,
la vida se estremece con los truenos.
Soplan vientos de tormenta
y adentro suenan gotas gruesas
penetrando en estrellas rojas.
Ahora estoy a oscuras.
Todo suena como una inmensa noche
con sus parpadeos y su pesado silencio.
Mi paso se enrarece
en lo que yo no controlo y me tambaleo
en una huella ebria de fuego.
Y yo crepito como pavesa herida
por la gracia del fuego y las llamas.
Llueven balas y sus zumbidos me calan.
Las palabras que rondan mi cabeza
suenan como lluvia, como balas y como saetas
en la última noche del mundo.
Hay un halo que me corta con sus bordes,
una cadena lo sostiene como medalla
animándome a jugar otra ronda.
Siento que yo misma piso sobre mí
y sueno como un reloj descompuesto.
Rearmo sobre mis pedazos otra yo con fisuras.
Mis cadenas hacen ruido,
ellas van juntando las piezas defectuosas,
su ‘¡Trink, trink!’va y viene como gaita fúnebre.
Yo soy la viuda de mí misma.
No veo una salida en este circulo de infierno,
pero, cierro los ojos y sueño.
