How i grow my tomato in it's nursery stage

HELLO HIVE

There is a dominant amount of vegetable cultivation in places around my farm and the other dominant one is seedlings of different kinds waiting for transplanting once the rain kicks off, the nursery beds for this seedling has to be prepared to meet the requirements for this seedlings to thrive in the current weather condition with any challenges from the dry condition that comes with the weather around this period.

Clearing that small portion has to be done first before any other thing then I had to till the ground for so many obvious reasons like the fact that the ground is usually dry during this period and it will be difficult to plant on such a land without tilling the ground to make it loose, I do wet it for some days before planting it and after which I can plant it minding the amount of soil that i use to cover the seeds because they are fragile plant that find it difficult to penetrate through thick sands unlike crops like cassava.

What I did most recently after

planting was to cover the seeds that I had planted with plant branches to keep the seeds or in some cases the seedlings away from hungry birds.
