Anyway to answer... My intent is to climb my ladder of shortened limbs to the full size branches which I will cut off. I will leave enough to climb on then will get to a point where I feel comfortable topping the tree. I'll likely make a face cut then a back cut to send it the way I want. I actually think I can put it between the the houses. I have ample room and with fewer branches it should go no problem. The lean of the tree even helps me.
I think I read leo finance back in 2016 and wanted to participate but never got around to it. Its not an alt only my regular account that was never active.
Some tree cutters put a steel pry bar into the back cut to lever it into falling in the right direction. I used a nylon 700 lb para cord to force a tree to fall in the right direction earlier this year. But that one was only around 20 feet. Not 40 feet.
