Yesterday started off with some rain in the gauge from overnight. We got less than a tenth inch but it helped to wash all the horrible pollen off a lot of the trees and flat surfaces where it had collected. I finally put the rhubarb juice into bottles to hold it for now.
Our wild roses are blooming all over the property now and the little pink blooms peak through the greenery in various places.
I had some spots in the pole garden that needed to be reseeded so I got Armenian cucumbers in the top of the one cuc row then the row I had tried to get corn to grow in I planted a bunch of dill seed. The dill has volunteered at the end but this will be an entire row.
In the main garden I had tried luffa seeds but they didn't sprout so I put acorn squash seeds in their place.
It took me half an hour or so to finish tying the lines up for the cucumber row in the greenhouse. They now each have a vertical line that I will be able to tie them to as they grow.
I started on the Tomato row but needed a bit of a break.
The grass that I cut and piled had to get hauled to the sheep so I grabbed a pair of old tent pieces and used them for my bundles. I piled the grass on them then tied opposite corners together.
I hauled them up one at a time then dumped them in the pen where the alpaca was instantly nosing into them.
J went to a birthday party and on her way home @stryeyz found this turtle crossing the road. She brought it home so R could see it. It hung out in the wading pool for a few hours then she took it with her when she went to pick J up and then released it on their way back home.
I got the trailer hooked up for my grain run this morning which was a really heavy one.
With the shelves built in the Tardis I had leftover 2x4s which I moved into the coop to keep them out of the weather.
Got the fire going mid afternoon and kept it going through the evening.
The hops are going crazy this year and are really thick and densely growing.
Te clouds moved in so it was a lot cooler in the greenhouse and I went and finished the tomato row lines. They run up to the top center purlin and each spot has a line. I also got the cages on all the pepper plants.
Some radishes were ready so R and @stryeyz picked any that were big enough.
The storms were moving around a lot and there were some thunderstorms that built up in the region but none ever came over the farm, they all split and went around us to then reform to the south.
Probably my best grouping so far and it was in the outer bull.
I cooked steaks for dinner which came out super tasty with the bbq sauce.
The storms stuck around the area but we still managed to get a nice sunset.
I have been to town for grain this morning and have emptied it. I think we are butchering today but we will see how it goes.

Hmm... I must commend your effort in coming up with this beautiful farm, you're doing a great deal of work.
And that turtle, I'm just seeing one with that colour for the first time.
The farm has been over a decade in the making to get to this point. All farms are a work in progress.
The painted turtles are pretty cool and we have a bunch of them between the creek, the river, and the lake.

I've never seen a turtle of this colour before. This looks so beautiful
Were you not scared while holding it?
Those hops are looking great. Like Christmas trees
