It actually got a bit colder than the 1F I got this pic of at 5:30am yesterday morning. The sun came up and the temp fell below zero for a while before gradually topping out at 20F for the day and what I woke to this morning.
Much of my morning was spent dealing with the re-ignition of the inflammation which has my skin exploding again. I did it to myself and I should damned well know better by now. It is hard to break habits, sometimes despite the damage that we KNOW they do to us. I wish there was a quick way to block the sugar desire other than abstinence which is rather hard to abide by.
Mid morning I had to go to get dog food and bird food at North 40. I have to get a new tote on order for next week and hopefully my face will be in good enough shape that we can maybe butcher a few turkeys soon as they are pigs and devour the feed.
I put the last puzzle away and got a new one out. It is an old puzzle with non standard shapes. The picture on the box is bigger than the puzzle picture is so it makes it a bit more interesting trying to figure out some of the areas. I have no memory of ever putting this one together as a kid so like the newness.
The boys had wrestling practice and after dropping them off I headed back home to help @stryeyz work on the puzzle. There are a lot of kids this year at wrestling, at least 50 and closer to 60 kids were there last night. This is only the younger kids so I imagine the older group has nearly as many. This is a super good thing for our area and for the district. Our program has already fed students into the high school program who have been excelling and winning thanks to the work and training they are doing at a younger age.
Both boys are having a blast and are getting a ton of exercise. First tournament isn't until March so they have 6 more practices until then.
Today I have to prepare myself for surgery tomorrow morning which I am a bit nervous about. I am really hoping that getting the infected tooth out will help my skin and the rest of my body. I have to get the tote ordered and call regarding a topper for my truck.
