This week, I am very grateful and happy because the plants I have sown over the past few months are finally yielding favorable results.

I sowed many eggplant plants. The first ones dried up; they were the largest and most beautiful in the seedbed, but they did not benefit from being transplanted. Now, I have planted several in these old recycled tires, and they are benefiting from the nutrients in the soil.

For about three years, I have been planting papaya seeds without favorable results. I mean, the plants grew large and beautiful, but their flowers were all male. This time, my beautiful plant is releasing flowers that are female. I am happy!

This means that soon these flowers will grow and turn into papaya fruits. Which excites me. I like to eat the green fruit in sweets and the ripe fruit in juices. Both are delicious.
I also planted eggplant plants in this other tire, along with a taro plant and a spinach plant. The spinach is very long, tangling itself wherever it can, producing beautiful green leaves that are large and juicy.

This is the most leafy spinach plant I have. I made it a trellis, and it has become so dense. Many people feed off it. People often ask for its leaves to eat them in stews, soups, green juices, and salads.

I planted several carrot plants and only one has grown, but it is very beautiful. I don't have much experience with this plant, but I will continue to learn how to care for it to get better results.

I have planted these wild coriander plants. I really like their flavor, which is more aromatic than coriander. For soups and stews, a few leaves of this herb are added to give them a special flavor. It is very aromatic and has a slightly spicy flavor.

The basil plants have reproduced very well. A month ago, I planted some branches from the mother basil plants in water, and when they had rooted enough, I planted them in plastic bags with good soil.

Today, both the mother plants and the offspring are very leafy. The leaves are aromatic and refreshing when added to soups and sauces.
I planted apple seeds, and the seedlings are beautiful. They are growing nicely in the bags.

I also have several pomegranate seedlings, which were recently transplanted and have tolerated the transplant very well.

The pomegranate mother plant is planted in a large pot, and the plant is blooming beautifully again.

Almost all of my plants are planted in large pots or recycled old tires. There is no excuse not to plant the plants we like to have. We just have to find out the conditions necessary for their growth and wait for the results of our efforts.
I am very grateful for the rains, which although they appear very rarely in this area where I live, it is also true that they are a divine gift for my plants.
