Call for Submissions: Share Your Testimony to Spread Hope and Encouragement on Fumbling Toward Jesus Podcast

in Christian Fellowship4 years ago (edited)

We are living in a confusing time. People are feeling fear and feeling the throes of depression and anxiety over the recent COVID-19 crisis. As Christians, it is our duty to spread hope and encouragement through Jesus Christ, and I have had it put upon my heart to do something about that very thing.

As you all know, I recently launched Fumbling Toward Jesus Podcast on Hive as well on most platforms for podcasting. I am planning an episode to be released next Monday that is going to act as a “hope bomb” for people to offer some quality encouragement and hope to folks who have been affected by this crisis—and let’s be real—can’t we all use a little hope?

I have sent invitations out to some folks, and it occurred to me that it would be so cool if we could have a global representation of believers offering hope to others during this time. So, please pray about submitting a voice message to the podcast with YOUR STORY of the hope you’ve found in Jesus.

Here’s the criteria:

  1. A 1-minute message left through the following link: https://anchor.fm/fumblingtowardjesus/message

  2. Your testimony should be focused on the hope you find in Jesus during uncertain times, or a message of Christian encouragement to our listeners

  3. Please include either your name or Hive username in the title of your submission so I know who is here!

  4. All messages must be submitted by Thursday, April 09, to give me time to mix everything together and prep it for release on Monday, April 13. By submitting a recording, you are agreeing to have your voice recording on the episode, which will be uploaded to the podcastosphere including but not limited to: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Castbox, and DSound.

Please pray about being involved in this project, record your submission—and let’s spread some of that hope we have found in Jesus Christ! I look forward to hearing your testimonies, and making this a truly global project!

If you have any questions about your submission,
just let me know in the comments.

This is a really beautiful sentiment. I admire you for starting this initiative. "Hope" is exactly the message that keeps coming to me. I feel we are wise to be hopeful at this time, and consider the possibility that the world is turning for the better. Especially as we seek Spirit, and understand our connection to a higher power.

I’m so glad you support this idea! I think we are absolutely and definitively called toward hope, and it’s so easy for folks to lose sight of that focus amidst a canvas of fear. I just pray we can come together to encourage other people and one another during this time, and that it will bring that hope into some folks’ lives who really need it now more than ever.

Thanks again for the comment, and please leave a submission if you feel led to do so!! 💚
