Forgiving is a victory

Many people often feel bitter in their lives. They become short-tempered at the slightest provocation. Freedom from anger is inextricably linked to forgiveness. We must forgive from the bottom of our hearts those who treat us unfairly.

"Then my Heavenly Father will do the same to you, if each one of you does not forgive his transgressions from his heart for his brother" (Matthew 18:35).

We must forgive all who have done us wrong. This is a matter of eternity. Whoever does not forgive like Jesus did, cannot enter the kingdom of God.

By the grace of Christ, we can and should forgive anyone who has offended us or harmed us.

"It is impossible for a man to be tempted beyond what he can bear when he trusts in Jesus, an incomparable conqueror" (Confrontation, 31).

We have freedom in Christ only when, of course, we forgive. We can receive this spirit of forgiveness only from Him. Jesus is the only source of supply for what is needed. We can achieve victory over this evil spirit that rules us.
