The challenge imposed by the 2 named communities, is this week to draw the avatar of the zombie Captain Jainer Strainer, one of the rules is to do it under your own style, so I will draw it in paper, pencil and colors in a physical way.

El reto impuesto por las 2 comunidades nombradas, es en esta semana dibujar el avatar de la Capitana zombie Jainer Strainer, una de las reglas es hacerlo bajo tu proprio estilo, asi que pues lo elaborare en hoja, lapiz y colores de forma fisica.

When looking at the reference character, I noticed that she has a very pronounced look as if she were a woman with snake eyes. So I wanted to add that element to the design.
Previously I've noticed that almost all of Hashkings avatars share a semi-profile looking sideways face, so I wanted to get out of that way and better pose a trace of her face looking straight ahead.

al ver el personaje de referencia, note que ella tiene una mirada muy marcada, como si fuera una mujer con ojos de serpiente. Así que quería añadir ese elemento al diseño.
Anteriormente he notado que casi todos los avatares comparten un semi perfil mirando su cara de costado, asi que quise salir de esa forma y plantear mejor un trazo de su rostro mirando de frente.
with the face already in focus, another element that I wanted to emphasize was the density of her hair,

So one of the elements to highlight was her front fringe, to make clearer the feminine part and minimize the area covered by the military helmet.

y pues al ser peliroja pense en aquellas mujeres de escocia con cabellera de volumen algo algodonado.
Así que uno de los elementos a destacar era su fleco delantero, para dejar mas en claro la parte femenina y minimizar el área que cubre el casco militar.

Puede que la boca abierta de forma exagerada pareceria mas a una victima del guason con su gas de la risa, y pues le quitara su atractivo, asi que le puse a ella unos labios algo mas femeninos como para besar a alguien.

Once the drawing was finished I noticed some deep scratches, so to correct the color, I opened the paint tool sai and on the scanned drawing, select the green color and smooth with the blur tool.

Ya con el dibujo finalizado note algunos rayonazos profundos, asi que para corregir el color, abri el paint tool sai y sobre el dibujo escaneado,selecione el color verde y suavice con la herramienta desenfoque

asi de plano, ya podia reparar esos rayones que deja el coloreado fisico y aumentar el brillo del color, pues cuando se escanea, el dibujo fisico es brillante, pero el escaneado no. (sobretodo con colores fluorecentes, como el verde y el resaltador naranja de marcador).

Sobre su historia, la verdad pues esta en un ejercito de zombies, asi que solo hay 2 formas de estar alli, una de estas es ser sometida a un suero de super soldados y la otra pues ser mordido por otro zombie.
Puede que pudiera profundizar aun mas sus origenes, Pero creo que al ser mujer y ser soldado, se ofrecio ella a si misma para ser convertida en zombie (por alguno de los metodos mencionados).
We could add an emotional story, like her boyfriend turned into a zombie by accident and so she also decided to be converted to be with him and obviously to serve her country.

Podriamos añadirle una historia emotiva, como que su novio se convirtio en zombie por accidente y por ello tambien decidio ser convertida para estar con él y pues obviamente para servir a su país.
Something about the mechanics made me wonder why the military would have a cannabis emblem?
Well the answer is obvious, it's a source of income if legalized, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to think of the military earning their paycheck from it.
I mean, the legal way, not the illegal way, of letting planes and trucks full of drugs pass through border points.
I hope these ideas resonate, and it wouldn't hurt to add that a cannabis funded military is somewhat profitable.

Algo en la mecanica me dejo pensando ¿porque el ejercito tendria un emblema de canabis?
y pues la respuesta es obvia, es una fuente de ingresos si se legaliza, asi que no seria descabellado pensar que la armada se gane el sueldo de este mismo.
Digo, de forma legal, no de la forma de dejar pasar avionetas y camiones llenos de droga en puntos fronterizos.
Espero que estas ideas resuenen, y pues no estaria de mas añadir que un ejercito financiado por canabis es algo rentable.

! help(no space) to get help on Hive. Infoy si, suele pasar, como tienen fecha de entrega, algunas veces uno puede quedarse a medias tanto el arte digital...o intentar maquetear el texto del cuerpo del mensaje del aporte.
Toca ir guardando el maqueteado en un documento de texto aparte, por si falla la linea (por cortes por sectores) no afecte todo.
Un poquito de dibujo tradicional nunca esta de más jsjs

Él, video en cámara rápida del dibujo está genial, pronto me gustaría también compartir un video así, me gusta siempre la forma en que coloreas, ya que como veo, siempre pintas de forma suave al principio, me gusto ese diseño nuevo para el personaje me parece que el casco se parece más a una pañoleta, pero eso ya es mi opinión personal, gracias por compartir y sobre todo por participar feliz día y suerte en el reto.
y si, lo que pasa es que el volumen del cabello quita de foco el casco y lo hace ver aun mas pequeño.
este estilo de cabello random me recordo a la mama de carlitos de rugrats
Y pues los colores me los regalaron , no los conozco del todo y me da algo de desconfianza usarlos ya que son muy espesos como lapiz labial, asi que intento no arruinar el boceto.
Nota mental: sacarle fotopia al diseño sin colorear, luego testear los tonos por si las cago, ya cuando encuentre los que son, si colorear el original.
Claro muy buena idea eso de sacar una fotocopia al boceto
pues si, no esta de mas, la idea surge de los libritos de dibujo que son de contorno para colorear con personajes de shrek
