U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he will meet with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in Florida this end of the week.  

Trump declared the gathering while at the same time addressing correspondents at the White House, saying the two chiefs would eat at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. Trump didn't offer some other subtleties.  

Sources had before said the gathering was underway, and one individual acquainted with the issue before revealed to Reuters that Bolsonaro said he was "called" by Trump.  

"He needed to eat," Trump told columnists.  

The gathering is relied upon to be shut to the press with no open articulations, two others sources said.  

A fundamental calendar for Bolsonaro's U.S. visit had indicated the Brazilian moderate president would be in Florida from Saturday to Tuesday, incorporating a gathering with a senior U.S. military official, a speculator course and visit to a plant run by Brazilian planemaker Embraer SA.
