Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.
This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Kobold Miner in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.
I just started playing so I don't know a lot of things about this game but still, I will try to show something good for this challenge.
Kobold Miner is a common fire monster that's both in Alpha and Beta edition.
This monster has melee attack ability for which this monster should only attack from the first position but for it's special sneak ability, it can attack from other places as well.
But fop it's sneak ability, it only the last monster in the enemy team instead of the first monster so this monster is better be using at the middle or at last position.
About the challenge:
You can find the official challenge post here.
For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle using the theme card and you should talk about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle.
The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.
There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.
Buying procedure of Kobold Miner card(s):
- First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
- Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.
Battling procedure with Kobold Miner:
As you'll need to battle with Kobold Miner so you'll have to play the battle using fire splinter of using dragon splinter and then fire splinter.
From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked button and you should wait for a little time.
This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.
Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.
You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.
Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.
As I need to play this battle with fire splinter to showcase battle of Kobold Miner, I chose Kretch Tallevor which is my dragon splinters summoner.
Then I clicked on the fire splinter button and I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.
My lineup for this battle:
Elven Defender:
Elven Defender is a rare neutral monster that I've leveled up to level 5 but as I'm in the bronze league, right now this monster played in this battle as level 3.
I used Elven Defender at the front position as it has big powers such as 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 shields, 9 Health in level 3.
It's an 8 mana monster.
Furious Chicken:
Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I've leveled up to level 4 but as I'm in the bronze league, right now this monster played in this battle as level 3.
I used Furious Chicken in the second position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low as 15.
It has 1 melee attack, 1 speed, 1 Health in level 3.
It's a 0 mana monster.
Goblin Fireballer:
Goblin Fireballer is a common fire monster that I've in level 1.
I used Goblin Fireballer at the third position cause I couldn't find any better monsters to use with the spare 2 mana.
I should've used it at the last position as it's a ranged attack monster and these monsters can't attack from the first position so I should've used it as far as I could from the first position.
It has a 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 2 Health in level 1.
It's a 2 mana monster.
Kobold Miner:
Kobold Miner is a common fire monster that I've in level 1.
I used Kobold Miner at the last position cause I wanted this monster to survive for a long time showing what this monster can do.
If it dies early then it can't show it's abilities, right?
That's why I used it in the last position thinking he might not get many hits from the last position.
It has 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 Health in level 1.
It has sneak ability which makes it better.
It's a 2 mana monster.
In the battlefield:
Kobold Miner attacked for the first time in round 1 and then he died in round 2 for an earthquake.
All other friendly monsters died too in the earthquake.
After the big earthquake, there were two monsters in the enemy team and only one monster in the friendly team.
But the only monster had big health and attack powers so he did it all.
After another earthquake, one of the enemy monsters got killed and there was only one vs one in both teams at that time.
The enemy monster was a ranged attack monster so he couldn't attack from the front position.
The friendly monster attacked once and then the enemy monster got killed in another earthquake.

Well... it's kind of the best battle challenge entry I've seen, for today maybe? ;)
The way you showed your battle with tutorials on how to buy the card and how to start the battle, that's really fantastic.
You did great in the battle as well.
I was looking for a post to curate with bigger upvote and it was hard to find one and then I've got yours.
