I had been away from my mother for far too long, and it was time to pay her a visit. She lived in a different province, so I decided to embark on a journey back home. Yesterday I purchased a bus ticket for the Phuket-Chaiyaphum route. The departure was set for 4:00 p.m., and with a distance of approximately 2000 kilometers, I knew it would be quite a lengthy trip.

As the clock struck 4:00 p.m., I boarded the tour bus filled with anticipation. The seats were comfortable, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. I began our journey, leaving Phuket behind as the bus cruised down the open road. The scenery whizzed by, and the sun gradually started to descend on the horizon.

After a few hours of traveling, the bus made its first stop at around 10 p.m. in Surat Thani Province. Famished from the long bus ride, I all piled out of the bus and made our way to a nearby restaurant. The scent of delectable Thai cuisine filled the air as I indulged in a delicious meal. It was a welcome break, allowing us to stretch our legs and replenish our energy.

Once we had our fill, it was time to resume the journey. The bus roared to life, and I set off into the night once again. As the hours ticked by, the second stop came into view around 2 a.m. I halted at Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, where some passengers get off and new ones joined me on our voyage. I decided to make the most of this opportunity and took advantage of the comfortable bus seats to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

Time slipped away as I dozed off, and before I knew it, the sun began to peek over the horizon. I stirred from my slumber, gradually awakening to find that we had arrived in Saraburi province. It was around 5 a.m., and the morning light painted the sky with hues of pink and gold. I gazed out of the window, reflecting on how long it had been since I had embarked on such a journey. The memories flooded back, reminding me of the countless adventures I had experienced in my youth.
