December is the last month of the year when shopping malls hold Christmas and New Year festivals. It's a month full of joy and fun relatives and friends who are far away have arranged to meet. New Year for Thai people working in the capital or working in factories, all receive large bonuses and return to celebrate the New Year in their hometown. Old people living in other provinces will be waiting to welcome their children who go to work in Bangkok with joy that they will meet in a long time. It was really a happy time.
This year, Central Department Store decorated the bridge connecting Central Floresta and Central Festival with huge gift boxes, Christmas trees, and cute mascots. Many customers come to use the service to take pictures or selfies. The 2nd floor of Central Floresta near the escalator is decorated with a huge, very tall Christmas tree with a large gift box and a cute mascot. There is also a train decorated to resemble Santa's reindeer.
เดือนธันวาคมเป็นเดือนสุดท้ายของปีซึ่งตามห้างสรรพสินค้าก็จะมีการจัดงานเทศกาลคริสต์มาสและเทศกาลต้อนรับปีใหม่ เป็นเดือนที่มีแต่ความรื่นเริงและสนุกสนาน ญาติพี่น้องและเพื่อนฝูงที่อยู่ห่างไกลได้นัดพบกัน ปีใหม่คนไทยที่มาทำงานในเมืองหลวง หรือทำงานโรงงานต่างก็ได้รับเงินโบนัสก้อนโต และกลับไปเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลปีใหม่ที่บ้านเกิด คนแก่ที่อยู่ต่างจังหวัดก็จะรอคอยต้อนรับลูกหลานที่ไปทำงานในกรุงเทพด้วยความดีใจ ที่นานๆ จะได้พบกัน มันเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งความสุขจริงๆ
ปีนี้ที่ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัลก็ตกแต่งบริเวณสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างเซ็นทรัลฟลอเรสตร้าและเซ็นทรัลเฟสติวัลด้วยกล่องของขวัญขนาดใหญ่ ต้นคริสต์มาส และมาสคอตน่ารักๆ มากมายเพื่อให้ลูกค้าที่มาใช้บริการได้ถ่ายรูปหรือเซลฟี่ มีผู้คนจำนวนมากมาถ่ายรูปบริเวณนี้ บริเวณชั้น 2 ของเซ็นทรัลฟลอเรสต้าใกล้กับบรรไดเลื่อนตกแต่งด้วยต้นคริสต์มาสขนาดใหญ่ที่สูงมากๆ พร้อมด้วยกล่องของขวัญขนาดใหญ่ มาสคอตน่ารักๆ และยังมีขบวนรถไฟที่ตกแต่งให้คล้ายกับกวางเรนเดียร์ของซานตาครอสอีกด้วย
