Phuket usually rains on weekends when there are more tourists than on weekdays. Today was the same it had been raining since morning, but my family and I were going out to have lunch. It was a very close restaurant, only 1 kilometer from my house. It took me 10 minutes to drive there because of the traffic jam. This restaurant is called "TEMPT Bar & Bistro". It is a restaurant with an unremarkable front that looks like a wooden house. There is no parking in front of the restaurant, so we never considered going there. But 2 days ago, a clip of this restaurant popped up on my TikTok feed. So I opened the clip and saw that the food looked very delicious. Today, we decided to go eat at "TEMPT Bar & Bistro".
In front of the restaurant, there was a sign indicating that parking was behind the shop, so I drove into a deep and narrow alley. When I arrived at the parking lot, next to it was a large wooden warehouse. This place was not only a restaurant but also a shed for storing wood. So I was not surprised that the shop looked like a large wooden house. Inside the shop, the walls and ceilings were decorated with wood.
The specialty of this restaurant is that there are large wooden tables surrounding a large square pan so you can watch the chef cook up close. When we went there, there were no customers in the restaurant, so we chose to sit at this table to watch the chef cook.
After we ordered the food, the chef started making an appetizer for us, which was popcorn. He put the corn kernels on a large pan covered it with a lid, and used the lid to rotate in circles to prevent the corn kernels from burning. After that, we had delicious popcorn.
When the chef served the popcorn, the staff brought the salmon rice bowl. And prepared the ingredients for the steak near the pan. Then the chef started cooking. The smell of the food wafted in and made me hungry. The chef started cooking with skill.
We watched the chefs cooking their food up close with his expertise. The smell and sounds of the cooking made our stomachs growl. Cooking is an art form and we enjoyed the cooking show.
The chef didn't take long to prepare this dish, "Pork Chop". It was served on a hot plate, giving off a very fragrant smell. The taste was the most delicious I've ever eaten. The mushroom sauce was also very fragrant and smooth on the tongue.
The next dish was lamb, I can't remember the name, but it was also delicious. It was a very filling meal for us. We are glad we decided to come and eat at this restaurant.
