Despite having been sick several times, she is now over two months old and that was our biggest fear, since puppies should be with their mother at least until the first two months and when she was given to me she was only one month old.
She is very playful and extremely curious but the story I want to tell you today even I find it hard to believe or understand. In the first publication we made about my pet I told you that the name I chose for her was "Spark" obviously when I started to call her by her new name she didn't pay attention. I was aware of the patience I had to have until I could get her to pay attention. After days of calling her Spark without any progress, my grandmother visited us and while she was talking to my mom they mentioned the resemblance she had with another pet we had a few years ago and when they mentioned the name of the old pet, my current pet got up and came to my mother's feet; we were speechless.
We thought it was just a coincidence, but as Master Shifu says in Kung Fu Panda "Coincidences do not exist". And to prove that it was not logical, I said softly "Sentinel come" and she turned to me and came to me, my mom got tears of emotion; even my grandmother was very surprised. From that moment on we started to call her "Sentinel" because she answered at the first call.
She is small but brave especially when it comes to taking care of her bones, apparently she will not grow much since she is part Chihuahua. The first days we had doubts because her ears were drooping and her eyes were not bulging, but as you can see in the following picture her ears are already erect but her eyes are still the same.
According to a fragment we read among some things we researched (I leave the link at the end) it says that in Buddhism there is a belief that when an animal dies its spirit takes seven days to leave, but when it leaves it is born in another body and begins a new life. Thus there are many beliefs that interpret it in different ways. In most of these stories they explain that the animal is born again. If that is somehow the case then my pet had almost four years searching for us until he made it back to our home.
In the following picture you can see the difference between the ears; as they were a month ago and as they are today.
I don't know if this whole story makes any sense that we can't see; so, whatever the reason is for my pet to attend so quickly to a name that another of our pets already had some years ago, we will simply dedicate ourselves to take care of her and love her as much as she loves us. I say goodbye until another opportunity and I hope my story and photos have been to your liking.

A pesar de haberse enfermado varias veces ya supero los dos meses y ese era nuestro mayor temor, ya que los cachorros deben estar con su madre por lo menos hasta los dos primeros meses y cuando me la entregaron apenas tenía solo un mes.
Ella es muy juguetona y extremadamente curiosa pero la historia que les quiero contar hoy hasta a mí me cuesta creerla o entenderla. En la primera publicación que hicimos de mi mascota les comente que el nombre que escogí para ella fue “Centella” obviamente al comenzar a llamarla por su nuevo nombre no prestaba atención. Yo estaba consciente de la paciencia que yo debía tener hasta lograr que prestara atención. Después de días de estarla llamando centella sin ningún avance, nos visitó mi abuela y mientras conversaba con mi mamá mencionaron el parecido que tenía con otra mascota que tuvimos hace unos años y cuando mencionaron el nombre de la antigua mascota, mi actual mascota se levantó y vino hasta los pies de mi madre; nos quedamos sin palabras.
Pensamos que solo fue casualidad, pero como dice el maestro Shifu en Kung fu Panda “Las casualidades no existen”. Y para probar que no era lógico, dije suavemente “Centinela ven” y se volvió hacia mí y vino hasta mí, a mi mama se le salieron las lágrimas de la emoción, hasta mi abuela quedo muy sorprendida. A partir de ese momento comenzamos a llamarla Centinela ya que al primer llamado atiende.
Es pequeña pero brava sobre todo a la hora de cuidar sus huesos, aparentemente no crecerá mucho ya que es parte chiguagua. Los primero días teníamos dudas porque sus orejas estaban caídas y sus ojos no eran saltones, pero como puede ver en la foto siguiente sus orejas ya están erguidas aunque sus ojos siguen iguales.
Según un fragmento que leímos entre algunas cosas que investigamos (les dejo el enlace al final) dice que en el budismo se tiene la creencia que cuando un animal muere su espíritu tarda siete días en marcharse, pero al irse nace en otro cuerpo y comienza una nueva vida. Así hay muchas creencias que lo interpretan de diferentes maneras. En la mayoría de estas historias explican que el animal vuelve a nacer. Si eso de alguna manera es así entonces mi mascota tuvo casi cuatro años buscándonos hasta que logro llegar nuevamente a nuestro hogar.
En la siguiente foto se puede ver la diferencia entre las orejas; como las tenía hace un mes y como las tiene hoy.
No sé si toda esta historia tiene algún sentido que no podemos ver; así que, sea cual sea la razón por la que mi mascota atiende con tanta rapidez a un nombre que ya tuvo otra de nuestras mascotas hace algunos años, simplemente nos dedicaremos a cuidarla y quererla mucho así como ella nos quiere. Me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad y espero mi historia y fotos hayan sido de su agrado.

Happy to find out that you officially met Sentinel.
As I started living with Guru when she was 2 months old.
When I knew I'll have a dog living with me, I also knew his/her name giving be me is going to be "Guru", as we can learn from each spirit here on earth if we observe and love each other...
