At the Lhokseumawe-Banda Aceh national route, this is among the most interesting and original gas station parks I've seen. How could it not be? Everyone who fills their cars up at this gas station seems to be concentrating on it. because there is a yard with a pond and invasive alien species fish at this petrol station.
I stopped at a common gas station on the route to Banda Aceh (SPBU). I noticed a garden with a fish pond at this petrol station. Located in Beureunuen, Pidie Aceh Regency, this gas station is known as the BJ Beujaya gas station.
In addition to being a lovely and picturesque setting for the park and petrol station, the pond serves as a resource for consumers and neighborhood residents. The pond serves as an educational space and many locals are aware of the presence of this fish, which is regarded as harmful. A board with details about the many species of fish in the pond is also located on its side.
The side of the hallway leading to the bathroom and prayer room has a cement fish pond. Parents are also busy spending time to look around this fish pond, making it clear that not just kids are interested in it. The term "educational ponds" refers to ponds that have this noxious kind of fish.
The artwork, which resembles a uni, gives the pool a natural appearance similar to strewn sand. The pond's uneven surface makes it difficult for moss to survive. With a glimpse of what looks like a tree between the rocks, the pond's side is designed like a flower pot.
The pool has an approximate 3x3-meter size and is shaped like a circle with an oval top. The pool wall is constructed in the shape of a shading pattern, giving it a harsher appearance due to the shading that was employed. The pool walls are made even more distinctive and lovely by this shading technique.
An artistically significant and beautiful swimming pool décor that conveys a sense of nature. The only person who can create decorations like these is a professional decorator, of course, as it takes skill. The natural dark brown color of the pool merges elegantly with the primary colors, and I really enjoy how it is decorated.
It is feared that if the pool water is directly exposed to sunshine, it will grow hot and the water temperature will fluctuate. The water of the pond will also get mossy if it is exposed to direct sunlight. Fish's chances of surviving depend on the water's temperature.
Also, the water in the pool is rotated by a fountain that is located on one side of the pool. Having a pipe in the shape of a shower obviously has a favorable effect on the pond's water's atmosphere, which may help the fish feel more balanced. Arapaima, alligator, black pacu, redtail catfish, and sorubim catfish are among the fish kept in this pond.
This particular fish belongs to the group of invasive and harmful fish species. So that guests wouldn't handle the fish in the pond, the owner also put up an information board there. In addition to fish, it turns out that this area is home to several turtle species, some of which can weigh up to 10 kilograms.
Everyone who enters this gas station finds the existence of this fish pond garden to be rather fascinating. This pond serves as an educational facility in addition to beautifying the surrounding garden area. This fish, which is considered a rare species in Indonesia, makes me very glad to see it.
