Have you ever visited the tsunami museum? The tsunami museum is located on the side of the Blang Padang field, precisely on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Sukaramai, Banda Aceh City.
Entering this museum will remind us how terrible the earthquake and tsunami that struck last week, December 26, 2004. Outside the mesium of the tsunami, there are the names of the victims, both those who died and those who went missing when the tsunami hit Aceh, besides that there were also flags and names of countries that helped rebuild Aceh after the disaster. Along the hallway, you can hear the sound of water dripping and people say Lailahailallah
Arriving in the museum room, we can see various replicas of the victims of the tsunami that hit Aceh, such as people running when the waves came, people on the roofs of houses, the rest of the mosque after being hit by the tsunami.
There is also a multimedia room, where we can watch live videos or recordings during the tsunami disaster. According to several visitors I interviewed, the recorded videos were collected from amateur recordings when the disaster hit Aceh.
