Continuando con la programación de la Cruz de mayo, fiestas tradicionales, este miércoles 29 de mayo del presente año, tuvimos como escenario y ambiente la plaza Pichincha de la ciudad de Cumaná, donde se realizó el “Encuentro de las Cruces”. Para esta actividad, estuvieron invitados cinco parroquias del territorio sucrense, tales como: Santa Inés, Ayacucho, Andrés Eloy Blanco, Altagracia y Valentín Valiente.
Continuing with the programming of the May Cross, traditional festivities, this Wednesday, May 29 of this year, we had the Pichincha square in the city of Cumaná as the setting and atmosphere, where the “Meeting of the Crosses” was held. For this activity, five parishes from the Sucre territory were invited, such as: Santa Inés, Ayacucho, Andrés Eloy Blanco, Altagracia and Valentín Valiente.
La zona educativa sirvió de apoyo para que esta programación, con todas las parroquias antes mencionadas, cumpliera a cabalidad su objetivo, a través de todos los actores educativos involucrados; siendo mi persona funcionario de la Parroquia Santa Inés. Las correspondientes actividades se llevaron a cabo en un ambiente de amor, alegría y compromiso. En el evento, también estaba programado la asistencia de las danzas de cada institución invitada, con sus bailes, teatro y drama, que deleitaron a todo el público presente.
The educational zone served as support so that this programming, with all the aforementioned parishes, fully fulfilled its objective, through all the educational actors involved; My person being an official of the Santa Inés Parish. The corresponding activities were carried out in an atmosphere of love, joy and commitment. At the event, the attendance of dances from each invited institution was also scheduled, with their dances, theater and drama, which delighted the entire audience present.
En la ambientación de la plaza pude observar, las mesas decoradas con las diferentes cruces de las parroquias invitadas, así como también, la decoración de la escalera y a un lado los cantantes que participaron con sus instrumentos musicales, como, el cuatro y la bandola, propio de la región oriental. Igualmente, visualicé como dulcería criolla, el tradicional majarete, arroz con coco, coquitos y otros, y como bebida, el popular “carato de mango”.
In the setting of the square I could see the tables decorated with the different crosses of the invited parishes, as well as the decoration of the staircase and on one side the singers who participated with their musical instruments, such as the cuatro and the bandola, typical of the eastern region. Likewise, I visualized as a Creole sweet, the traditional majarete, rice with coconut, coquitos and others, and as a drink, the popular “carato de mango”.
Tanto el atuendo de las niñas que bailaron el joropo en la celebración de este “Encuentro de Cruces”, como el de los estudiantes de danza, estaban muy bien elaborados y acordes para todos los bailes que presentaron en esta fiesta tradicional.
Both the outfits of the girls who danced the joropo in the celebration of this “Meeting of Crosses”, and that of the dance students, were very well prepared and in keeping with all the dances they presented at this traditional festival.
De igual modo, se observó mucha coherencia y sincronización de todos los participantes. Doy un aplauso a todos estos niños, niñas y adolescentes que participaron en este acto, e igualmente a todos los organizadores, porque sin ellos no hubiese sido posible esta actividad. Asimismo, pude apreciar el impacto positivo que produjo en los presentes este encuentro. Al final del evento, hubo buenos comentarios de todos los asistentes.
Similarly, a lot of coherence and synchronization was observed among all participants. I give a round of applause to all these children and adolescents who participated in this event, and also to all the organizers, because without them this activity would not have been possible.
