I decided to share my next set of photography into Stock Images community today after reading following post.
Sharing beautiful landscape is the easiest, at least for me. I did that on several occasions already, so probably no one is interested in it any more here at Stock Images community. Harder task is to present a set of photography which are themed more specific. In the article I mentioned above, there is a call to share photos of the following themes:
EDUCATION
DRUG/S
DIG
EMOTIONS
THOUGHT
BRAIN
IDEA
MOSQUITO
EVENTS, FESTIVALS and HOLIDAYS
I will try to contribute with the first on the list in some way. All photos are definitely connected with education, but they present people, kids in school uniforms. I made these photos during my travel in Indonesia. To be more precise majority is from vicinity of Lake Toba where we visited two schools beside all the other interesting things around, while first ones are from small island Flores which is more known by natural landmark Kelimutu, but visiting it to experience local life is also a great thing to do.
Most of the photos, you could also connect to word emotions, as these kids really showed some of that while we were visiting. Only positive emotions and that is why I keep that encounter in such a positive way and would return for refill again anytime.

Ohhhh meeting locals on our trips is one of the highlights for sure.

WOW!!! I never expected you’ll be able to capture so many beautiful photographs of these wonderful kids in their school uniforms. They are indeed the perfect subjects for the education theme!
I’m curious Andy. Were their schools already part of your travel itinerary? In other words, were they arranged visits? Or did you just happen to randomly take their pictures along the way?

People photography is kind of my secret passion which is developing through last years. Ethiopia trip was cherry on the top, but it all started back in Namibia where people were really genuine and photogenic. It was similar couple of years ago in Indonesa where these photo were made.
Well, I wanted to visit a school since I started planning my travel.
But I didn't announced myself to any. When we had time and were in the vicinity we decided to stop at school. And what happened? You can see on the photos...
Whole school came to greet us which was amazing feeling. I tried to captured some of it with my camera and result can be seen above.
Oh okay I see! So your school visits were spontaneous (spur of the moment) decisions. I guess you were not expecting the warm welcome that the school children offered, right? I’m pretty sure that it made you happy and your day complete. Thanks a lot for clarifying!

When you don't announce yourself, but yet you are greet by whole school. Feeling is even better and experience more genuine...
Children or gorgeous to photograph, some love to show off others shyly smile, none ever get upset.
Looking through these lovely captures you can can even see the naughtier (mischievous) ones with those slightly cheeky smiles!

We don't have school uniforms here in my country so that was really interesting to me.
