I am a big Pink Floyd Fan and I love all their music. One of my very favorite song by them is "Learning to Fly". I consider it my theme song. One line of the lyric says, "Tongue tied and twisted, just an earthbound misfit, I" I often feel like this as a Christian Man living in our current world.

hello @slackerman I grew up with Pink Floyd, and very much got into every album in my teens :)

Thank you all for being here and for the congrats for my win of the spin today. I like lots of songs but the 1st one I think of often and it kind of gets me going is ... Rise And Shine - Give God You Glory Glory - Children Of The Lord!

congrats @kenwolff

Songs from the 80's and 90's i guess.

@edgerik I like songs of the 1800's, well more pieces of music, now that make me feel young

Did you know you can now buy Rising Star packs with $PIZZA? (6/10)

"Happy" by Pharrell Williams brightens my day each time I hear it. The beat the singing, just everything about it makes me feel good.

Hello @darmst5339 It is indeed a great song by a great artist :)

I'm not sure what song sparks "the most" joy in me as it depends on the context. Belting out Morning Musume's "I, I, I, I surrender" ["I" in English sound the same as "ai" = "love" in Japanese] in the right company at a karaoke party (not that one indulges in such vanities in these dark times) can certainly spark joy...

But so can anything by The Who when that force of nature, Keith Moon, was still alive:

Hello @hirohurl I Surrender Rocks :0 great energy

And yes the Who is an staple.
I also used to like Uriah Heap , for some strange dark reason

Congrats to today's winner.. It is hard to choose just one, but I guess Saturday Night. Incase you never heard of it

hello @ericburgoyne I grew up with the BCR's playing as my sister was well into them at the time, so have heard all their songs, multiple times, and yes this is great up beat song :0

Many congratulations to the winner.
I live old songs specially Hindi and Punjabi ( Indian languages). They were so nice and you enjoy listening to them a lot.

I am also a Pink Floyd Fan, Supertramp, Jefferson airplane just to name a few, however I learnt to play all of the Beatles songs and all of Bob Dylan songs when I was a teen and have a soft spot for them
My most favourite though, and it is hard to pick one is, Your Bloody well right by Supertramp.

Having said that, I love classical and Jazz and Blues, especially early blues, Robert Johnson era :)
