TuesdayOrange: Descent into the bowels of the Earth (Photo report)!

in Photography4 years ago

Last weekend I went to the bowels of the Earth... Literally!

In the heart of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park (Estremadura region, Center Portugal) are the Santo António Caves.

These caves were discovered by accident in 1955 when a young boy and his father tried to catch a bird that was hidden in a hole between two rocks!

The man realized that the cavity was much bigger than he thought, having returned later with a rope and oil lamps, ready to discover the secrets that the earth kept!

Enough talk ... Decide for yourself if the adventure was worth it!
